Nancy looked at pictures of my yard and and let me talk about my current garden situation and goals. As we discussed everything from space and soil to sunlight, she drafted a plan for my yard with short and long term suggestions. It was a great feeling to know that I could ask her anything!

“Holly, Jana and Helena (and all of the Parkview team) were AMAZING to work with for my wedding flowers. They took every inspiration photo I had and truly made them come to life. My time spent with them was very interactive regarding what flowers should be used based on my dress shape, wedding colors, etc. They are so kind and easy to work with! They were flexible & exceeded all of my wants and expectations. I highly recommend Parkview!”
“I recently bought 5 rolls of Fescue sod ( 50 sq ft )for my front yard from them. Called them a day in advance to place the order and set a time to pickup. The sod was fresh and they also helped to load it in my trunk. Great experience overall. Big box stores charge you more than double for the same sod roll. I will definitely buy more from Schroeder farm in future.”

I unfortunately live in a different state and they do not really ship plants however I was able to talk them into giving it a shot. Everyone I spoke to was extremely kind and courteous. They took the utmost care in packaging and made some wise decisions regarding the whole arrangement to make sure it arrived in great shape despite the cold weather. Ive never been so happy and grateful for the kind treatment I received. I got my dream plant and am ecstatic to share how wonderful the experience has been.”

“I went to the shop to seek chainsaw repair and was informed it would be a 5-6wk turnaround. The attendant asked what was wrong with my chainsaw and I told her. She asked me to bring it in so she could take a look. She inspected the chainsaw and gave me a solution that would not require me to leave it. This was very unexpected but greatly appreciated. With service like that I will definitely be back since I have a lawnmower that is in need of service.”
“I was shopping at the Home Depot in Manchester MO went my sugars dropped at the self check out. I would like to give thanks to Mary and Zach for assisting me. I didn't have my glucose tablets with me to bring up my sugar level. Mary got a sucker from another employee and Zach give me a sprite. Mary made me a seat to sit down and she kept checking on me. She would not allow me to leave the store until my a1c was over 70. I wanted management to know how appreciative I am of those two employees.”

“This is quite a delayed review- but better late than never. :) My mom really wanted some hanging plants for Mother's Day. I always drive by Colors of Spring and notice the beautiful plants outside (when they're open). We went together to pick them out, and loved the different varieties that they offered. We parked on Fyler for street parking, and walked in the back. Lots of different areas to look and choose from. I'm the furthest from a plant pro, so I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly what I saw. However; they looked well taken care of and of good quality. There were also a large variety on the outside of the front of the shop on Watson. We found a couple we liked to check out and the staff member working explained to my mom how to properly take care of her choices- water amount, sunlight amount. It was a quick and easy experience, I would definitely go back to find more in the future!”
“Great nursery! Very knowledgeable staff! I needed help with a couple of boxwoods with browning leaves. The young man I spoke with inspected the samples I brought in, immediately diagnosed the problem and suggested a treatment plan. Definitely recommend this nursery.”

“Had 4 yards of “raised bed garden soil” delivered on 8/27/25. Great blend of 5 items. Overall I am very pleased with this product. My only concerns are that there were a bit too many large clods of clay and black gold compost. I tossed out the clay and manually pulverized the compost. There were a few fist sized rocks in it…but only a few. If they have a way to better pulverize the clay and the compost they should do it. Again overall I am very pleased…beautiful soil. Bonus… they charged about $50 less than everyone else for the delivery fee….only $105. Perfectly delivered within the 2 hour window as promised.”

“The staff are very kind and accommodating with their willingness to help though I would thoroughly check any lumber that you're purchasing as it is very hard to find a straight board nowadays. If you order ahead and request a pickup order then who knows what quality you will get. I had to go searching through numerous boards in order to find a small amount of straight or slightly curved manageable boards with a variety of sizes. The store is good but I am very upset with the quality of Wood nowadays. It is sad to say that you cannot find a straight board. The tool selection and everything else is good and fairly priced with a nice selection to choose from.”

“Neighborhood store. Huge , great workout regimen, put your walking shoes on and do your miles here. Plentiful parking, inventory available, clean clutter free environment. Staff understand there job and can actually assist you if you need help finding items. Reasonably priced.”
