I highly recommend this company. They installed sun shades on my dock several years ago. Due to wind damage I recently needed repairs. They made the repairs quickly and at no charge. Totally unexpected. Good company.

Contacted this company for solar shades for my dock after being recommended on Nextdoor by members. I called on a Wednesday, no answer so I left a message. A week later still no return phone call so called again and left another message. Another week goes by and finally I get a return phone call from them. Otis comes out and evaluates the job. He said that he'll send a bid by Friday. No bid received by noon on Friday so I called again and left a message for him about my bid. Now it's been three weeks since coming out and still no bid. I hired a different company to do the job today. American wasted my time.

Installed railing on upper and lower decks. Great company to work with from their sales rep to the install guys. They do excellent work, on schedule; something that is not easy to find around the lake.

Be very careful signing up for a project. Plan to send money prior to start of job. And then be ready for a ton of delays and excuses. You might see your job done 4 months later. And don’t call office requesting customer service because they are rude and unresponsive. Lastly, plan to spend an entire day on day of install as they will give you a time and miss that by HOURS!Work they did was good, but not worth the stress and headaches.

well they paid me a dollar less an hour than what we agreed and wouldnt give me any pay stubs for the first 2 months so I couldn't even find out what they were doing. they never show up on time, the powder coating manager is as clueless as one can be. the craftsmanship just sucks. nothing is consistent. and they fired some of their employees during the first 2 months of the covid pandemic for lack of childcare. all I can say is POS

Showed up late with no tools or materials. Finally started at 12:30. They were supposed to finish that day but left the job site when I took my family to dinner.

American Sun Control did an absolutely outstanding job on our railing and pergola. It's all hand-crafted aluminum and black powder coated. It's absolutely beautiful and incredibly durable compared to steel or wood. The neighbors are walking open-jawed into our backyard now. Prices were fair, it took a while for them to make it, but installation happened so quickly I couldn't believe it. Our outside space transformed completely in a day.
