Went to Nicks True Value Hardware in Osage Beach, MO. Purchased a $730 generator on January 4,2025. Never used the product or even put gas or oil in it. The generator still has the protective plastic on it. The original receipt states clearly, and I quote, 'Your receipt guarantees your no hassle-return'. The owner refused to take the generator back and would not refund my money! Be vary cautious, as I will never do business with this establishment in the future. I am considering my options. I would have given 0 stars if I could have.

Do not buy anything. The receipt reads, you can return as long has you have your receipt with no problem. We called about returning a 750.00 dallor item. He said no. How is that taking care of your customers? Will never enter his store again.

Customer service is excellent! All I needed was a couple of screws to attach a license plate to a vehicle. Chris went above and beyond and made sure they were the correct size and got his tools out and attached it to my car. Thank you!

We bought a Wetstep ladder and discovered it wouldn't fit in our vehicle. The sales person offered to deliver it to us same day, as an extra service, on his own time. I feel the staff went above and beyond to make the customer happy. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very efficient. Worth traveling the extra mile for your purc!ase.
