This is the worst location I've ever been to... imagine needing one small piece of tape for a plastic bag & them charging $4 for a roll of packing tape. EVERY location I have been to will give you a half an arms length of tape. It's poor customer service because you don't want to be a decent human, get up off of your butt & grab a small piece of tape. Lazy.

It seems like the mail delivery people don't even look at the envelopes before they put them in a box.

I mailed some very important documents to Munich Germany over a month ago. I paid almost $70 for the documents to get there, and they didn't. These documents cannot be replaced and the "I don't care" attitude of the US Post Office is beyond upsetting. Why can't we get better service???????

I'm not sure what is goin on with the US Postal Service but it has really went down hill I understand that there's more online shopping now & it makes extra packages to deliver but come on 25 days to mail something to Florida that's how long it took to mail an envelope to Florida that's ridiculous ! I ordered something from Malaysia on 1/22/2021 it arrived in the us on 3/10/2021 & I'm still waiting on it which I tracked it & it said the package was delivered but it wasn't so I call the local post office & was told give it a few more days it's already been 2 1/2 months & it's bn in the US almost a month what is goin on ! Sometimes I don't get my mail til 8 pm & It's weird I'm Leary's seeing mail carriers sitting in the vehicles not sure if there in their phones or what but somebody needs to figure it out & hire some new workers or something or we aren't goin to have the us postal service anymore as an option & we will end up having to pay more then the price of a stamp to mail a simple letter !!!

Overland Post Office is getting worse by the day. I have ask about my mail dozens of times and getting nowhere. My email tells me I have mail and most times shows pictures but I never get the mail. Where is it? where does it go?? I know in the past alot of times the neighbors has got my mail and was good enough to bring it to me. I have bank and investment statements that is missing so far this month. At one time we had good reliable people in the post office.

The employees here always have an attitude. They are disrespectful when you try to ask a simple question. One even rolled her eyes at me. I don't think this is very good customer service. An example of one behavior I experienced is when I brought in a pair of shorts that didn't fit, to mail back to sender. I asked what type of package I could use for it. The lady obnoxiously replied, "I don't have anything for that." I explained that there must be some option. It's a post office for crying out loud . She pointed at the wall and told me go check what's on the wall, but it's going to cost you at least $4 for the package. So, clearly there was a package that I could use and obviously she knew that or she would not have been able to tell me a price for one. Terrible service.

I setup an appointment for a 11.30am Passport renewal + Picture appointment. Also subscribed for the USPS notification on the schedule. I'm thorough with my documentation procedures, therefore carried all the necessary documents to the venue. When we got there, the lady at the front desk corrected me that this is not a renewal but a passport application. I didnt make a big fuss and moved on to say I've brought my kids old passports and the appropriate documents. She then went to ask about pictures. I informed her that the appointment also includes their pictures to be taken. For which she replied, the camera is not working. At that point, my trip off work turned out to be useless. I asked her why wasn't this updated in the system. Without missing a beat, She said, " I don't know anything about the website, talk to my manager". No apologies or any concern for people's time as I was waiting in the regular line when the appointment was already setup. Where is the line for passport inquiries? Why bother to setup appointments, if I had to get a token and wait in line? Where is the customer service? Quite surprised to know that a post office functions with only one camera and the representative is too lazy to process the documentation.Makes me wonder if she was avoiding to go through filling up documentation, because she hasn't done that before? I wouldn't be writing this review if she hadn't made it very obvious about how lazy and inadequate this person was. I went to the olivette branch after the pictures were taken at Walgreens. The Olivette Branch had excellent customer service. They were fast, pleasant and knew exactly what they were doing. I was out of the office within 15mins.

I go out of my way to use this post office when in North County, The staff is above the bar and extremely efficient. The bad reviews sound like they were written by entitled idiots with a second grade education. I run a professional shipping company that sends out awkward packages every week all over the country.

Overland (Woodson RD), postal delivery. Postman was refusing to pick up package and wrote (Dog on Property) on a paper that says "please return this notice to your supervisor upon return to your unit. Do not leave with customer". This was left in my mail box and the postman was refusing to take a 3 pound package. My dog is in the house with the door shut, plus my dog is a 5 lb. chiwawa. This is not the first time this has happened. I called the Overland USPS but I doubt this problem will get solved. The confirmation number was WEC259304082 "Dog on Property", Timothy M Gaffney USPS printed: Friday, March 1, 2019 5:06:35 AM CST. Requested pickup date Fri 03/01/2019, no pks 1. This office is terrible and don't have a clue what is going on. I just wonder why all the legal and important items are lost, but I do get the junk mail. That's the bad part of having the informed mail option, you know it is lost and nobody knows anything when you go up there. Last year I got 3 tax checks that were for 63113 zip code. Took them up there and the clerk asked me what I wanted her to do with them. I was not very polite with my answer.

This is the slowest post office ever. The lines are long and the people behind the counter are slow as molasses. Last week I counted 14 people in line and one line operating. Anytime I go in and fill out to hold mail, they still bring it. They say its their subs....Very frustrated with their service. I find they are not very friendly either. I'd like to give it a "zero star"

Unbelievable! I had an important letter that needed to be delivered by next Tuesday, that was Friday. I put it out so the mail person could pick up as they delivered my mail and at 8 pm it was still in my mail slot. Frustrated I just called the Overland post office only to be told that my mail person did not deliver any mail on my street because there was a dog loose in the neighborhood. Seriously!!!!!!???? It's your job to deliver rain, shine, snow, strong winds and you decide a dog is too much for you! That's why they made MACE and Pepper spray! There is NO excuse and the explanation was LUDICROUS! Why do you have a vehicle? So, you can deliver the mail. Common sense would have told me to first call the cops, humane society or someone to catch the dog. If that didn't spring to mind, then use the truck to stop at every house and deliver the mail!!!!!! Who said you have to walk the route? I can't make an excuse when I encounter roadblocks at my job, I work around a problem and find alternatives. Hmm, I need a job at the post office. That way I can blame a dog for not doing what I was hired to do...Deliver the mail!

Nightmare! Unfortunately, the people at this post office reinforce every negative stereotype of black people in the workplace (and I'm Black). I ordered two packages; I tracked the first one and it updated as delivered online when it had never arrived. I went the post office to inquire as to where it had been delivered. They handed me an unrelated package that my wife had ordered the last year and had forgotten about it! So, that package was never delivered. The next day I find the package I had intended to pick-up sitting out in my yard by the front gate!?! It wasn't there before, but I suspect my thieving courier thought twice and dumped the package into my yard. As I tracked the other package it showed that it had arrived Thursday night, so naturally, I thought it would be delivered the next day...nope! I patiently waited Saturday when there was a tracking update that said the package was out for delivery, quickly followed by another update that said my package was somehow delayed! I proceeded to the post office on Monday and the lady behind the counter yelled at me saying "you can't just come here to intercept a package whenever you feel like it." Mind you, I was only checking on the status. I left, returned the next day around 5:45, the post office closes at 6 pm. The guy behind the counter told me to speak with a supervisor. I waited 40 minutes while they closed the counter in front of me and the guy told me that the supervisor couldn't see me because she was too busy, so I should come back tomorrow. I'm beginning to get upset at this point and demand to see the supervisor since I had waited so long. Finally, after an hour the supervisor comes out and she's actually nice. She looks up the package and finds that the courier didn't even scan the package; he sorted it and took it out for "delivery," and no one has seen it since. The supervisor says she's going to open an investigation but I'm like so what should I do now. I am very angry at the fact that the government can rob you with impunity and you really have no recourse. Can't sue; you can file a claim but it takes up to 60 days before anything happens. The principal of the matter that is very bothersome, disturbing even. The big bully government can do whatever and the little man just gets lost in the bureaucracy.
