Bought a heating and cooling system. The system DID NOT WORK, installed wrong. They came out twice and found nothing wrong. Said if they come out again I had to pay a service fee, so they discovered they installed it wrong and STILL charged me a service fee. After I paid they said, this system will only cool the house by 20 degrees. So if it is 105 outside it will still be 85 in the house.Services: Heating system installation

Richardson Heating and Cooling did a wonderful job on getting my new unit installed in a timely manner, were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up after the installation was complete. They even went the extra mile to reinstall my interior door where the unit was installed (it was removed prior to them coming in). If you are looking for a family owned company that is reliable, affordable, professional, and has great customer service, Richardson Heating and Cooling is the company I recommend.

We had Richardson install a new AC and furnace in the summer of 2019. That particular service was fantastic.Our follow up experience has been less than stellar. We were having trouble at the beginning of June and knew a hot week was ahead. We called and they had someone out within 48 hours. Our unit was riddled with pollen and whatever else an AC can collect over two years. They cleaned the unit and let us know that the fan would need to be replaced but they didn't have the correct fan in stock so they would order it. I've been trying to follow up on this fan since June 9th, with my last bit of real information on June 24th. They have NOT been proactive about getting in touch with us and when we are able to call and get ahold of someone, it's almost always someone who doesn't know what we're asking about. I'm not sure what the plan is here, but it appears that Richardson is not interested in honoring their work, calling us back, or continuing to keep our business. It's disappointing to say the least.As a result, our new AC is struggling to keep up with the summer weather(even on cooler days) and it's running constantly. Our electricity bill is up probably 20% from last summer.I would recommend Richardson for installation, but nothing else.Service: Install AC
