I really like this library. It is clean and well organized. They have a good selection of books. If you live in the area. I recommend getting a card. You can also find books on the website and have them held for you at the library. Free of charge.

Great library! The staff are always friendly & helpful. The meeting rooms are great. I think it's neat that there's an outdoor patio. They also seem to have fun activities for kids, such as crafts and reading time. Only thing I dislike is that it's so cold inside.

It could have been set up better...the computers are in the front by the entrance...most people want a quiet place to work...this would have been better placed over by the restrooms....often small children run through the library unsupervised...this is quite distracting...

MCPL also offers free access to many online research and learning resources, online classes and tutoring services, and digital versions of popular publications such as The Kansas City Star and other daily newspapers. Customers may browse for materials, reserve meeting rooms, and attend in-person programs for all ages.
