Received a credit card offer for an Aspire credit card with NO credit check required. Weird, I think, but thought I'd take the chance. Didn't need the credit card, but it couldn't hurt to have another.Wham, bang, thank-you-ma'am, they did a credit check that week. Am I surprised a credit card needed a credit check? No.Am I surprised they were so unashamedly evil to LIE and DECEIVE to obtain another customer, here in the heartland? YES.Be cautious.

America's Finest Fleecing of the Sheeple -- I highly recommend the Bank of Missouri ASPIRE credit card IF you enjoy HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Down on your luck? Don't worry, they'll kindly drive you to the poor house with 36% interest rate, $85 annual fee... and as a bonus there's an $87 maintenance fee! Disclaimer: This is not a review of the branch... may be lovely people. This is a review of the ASPIRE credit card. Wonder if the bankers who concocted this have a soul? Well they get richer, you get poorer. U may wanna run, don't walk before you get fleeced! In other words, avoid this card like the plague.

I am a real estate Broker based in Springfield, Missouri. I've had occasion to try and work with Tom Frasher, a banker with Bank of Missouri. I've never met Mr. Frasher (because he refused to meet with me), our only dealings have been by phone. It is my opinion based on several phone conversations with Mr. Frasher that he lacks the ethical qualities to fairly represent Bank of Missouri. If you have any dealings with Mr. Frasher, I would encourage you to either tape phone calls, or only converse with him in writing. I have learned my lesson and will not do any business with Nr. Frasher in the future. Just my opinion of course.

So I wrote a check and mailed it for my house payment on November 3rd. Well apparently Enterprise Bank never received it. I don't pay attention to my account, just balance my check book when I write a check or swipe my card. Well today I went to pay bills and notice Enterprise Bank never cashed my check that I wrote and mailed on November 3rd. So I call them and they inform me that the have assessed a $25 late fee. I argue that this is not my fault and they said it was not their problem. So I called my bank (Bank of Missouri) to STOP the check and I will just go pay it in person at the Enterprise Branch here in Perryville. My bank says sure, no problem. We can stop the check but it will be $34.... I argued that this is not my fault and they said it was not their problem. I was also informed that Enterprise bank will likely receive the check in a few more days because it got lost in the mail and not to be surprised if, I am charged a return check fee, because they couldn't cash it. So far I am in this over $50 all because the mail didn't get to them. WHICH IS NOT MY FAULT. This will likely also result in negative marks being on my credit report for a late payment. I have never been late or missed a payment on ANYTHING IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! You think they care about their customers??? I sure dont....
