Floating - I've used this outfitter a couple of times. The low rating is for the facility as well as their refund policy. We went last weekend and were some of the first people checking in that morning. The bathrooms were in terrible condition, which you'd think they'd be in their best shape first thing in the morning. We also accidentally reserved one more kayak than we needed, immediately called within minutes of booking to fix our mistake, and they said they would not refund. We weren't cancelling our whole trip, just one boat (of 5). Couldn't understand why this wasn't possible given that we had just submitted the booking minutes before.

We were there over the 4th of July with my brothers family. We each have 2 large 5th wheels. This campground is not designed for campers. The slots are very narrow. Our first spot had bad wiring at the post. We hooked up and it started smoking. They did give us the option of going to another one of their campgrounds, which we did. Whitney, at Kozy Camp, was awesome and tried to be very helpful. The other site also had narrow slots. Nice place for tent camping, river is nice, but I would not go with an rv.

I can’t speak to anything but the cabins. The only reason this got two stars is because everyone we worked with was courteous and professional. However, our cabin’s toilet did not flush, the water did not come out to wash hands, and the bathroom door fell off. The whole structure wobbled when walking across and there was a giant hole at the bottom of the stairs. If staying here, avoid the cabins.

Horrible experience. Unsanitary and unkept. We used to love this campground, however they let this place go. Everything is a hazard. Electrical outlets, water faucets, roads. Overall, won’t be coming back. Also, rude personal. Employees aren’t qualified and lack training.

I dont feel like the reviews about this place are very fair. Front office lady was very nice and Shaun who delivered our wood was awesome to talk to. We did primitive camping, 11 of us total and wasn't crowded at all. Grass was mowed too.Only gripe was the lack of toilet paper in the bathrooms so bring your own.

i was hesitant to book because the reviews weren’t great, but i’m glad we did because we had a great experience. the staff was so friendly and explain everything to you. our float was so fun and we camped in the little huts. the bathrooms were a little nasty but that’s pretty normal for camping. will definitely be booking with them again!

I was highly disappointed in this place. We booked for 4th of July. It was only place available at last minute and I quickly understood why. VERY expensive. They charge per spot and per guest. Grounds were not maintained. Grass at our spot was knee high in places. Shower house had " dripping" water pressure and was filthy. They also over sold spots so there was no room to park with your site. Our neighbors were right outside our camper door. The float was short and they complained about coolers in rafts and wanted to rent a cooler float to us. Too many options on this beautiful river. Pick another.

Sad to say that this outfitter was very satiated with communicating on a lack of Assistance in locating a shuttle launch for personal kayak, even with the ability and Offer to pay for the services. Claimed a liability, not quite sure what using my own vessel has in terms of liability for them as long as they are properly transporting kayaks, But unfortunately the owner of this kozy camp's, as well as 3 others connected to the elk refuse to offer assistance. So sad to see them requiring guests to downgrade their kayaks in order to float with their company.Edit: the company is now trying to backtrack with information that was never supplied and I'm sorry to say was completely unrelated to the conversation. Did not even deny kayaks on the river this weekend. They are choosing to deny personal kayaks that offered to pay to be shuttled. Literally costs nothing to them more than time and space. We DO NOT want to use their base model Kayaks and unfortunately their pride around it has lost them a float group. A loss of 8 people renting for the 3 personal shuttles they denied. Will NOT recommend.Edit: there was no offer of rescheduling and this seems to be a replied given for PR, the woman I spoke with was condescending and rude. Literally dozens of people were on the river in kayaks.

This place used to be awesome now the grounds are not mowed or weed-eated and the prices are outrageous especially considering that the service is just mediocre.

Had a wonderful time over the weekend! Of course we went on the hottest weekend of the whole year.so the tiny window units in our cabin didn’t quite cut it! However, I’m still giving it 5 stars since we had a blast!

The worst floating experience. Ell we didnt get to float and lost about $1000. Cancelation policy is awful. Lower your prices or upgrade your facility. Not worth the trip. The guy working in the office is the best and only good thing going for this place. He was amazing.

I would not recommend this campground to anyone and it was nothing like I was expecting. If you’re going to go, there’s no point of getting one of their tiny cabins, and just be sure to bring your own toilet paper and soap for your trip to use their bathroom. The staff was kind and easy going except for some guy named Rylen(?) who was extremely rude. There’s lots of other campgrounds around…pick a different one.

This is the worst float I've been on in all my years. After paying $409 for a "waterfront campground next to showers" I arrived to find a small camping plot with no definite fire pit mostly covered in poison oak. Not to mention there was no shower house. We brought canoes to float and rented a raft from the floating outfit, rafts only go on the 6 mile float which we were also not informed of. So we paid almost $700 for a 6 mile float and a nasty poison oak rash. The river was beautiful though.
