Recently attended a birthday party there. The staff was nice and attentive, but the pool itself and the surrounding area needs some big updates. It honestly feels dirty and grimy. It looks as if nothing has been cleaned or updated in the last 20 years. There was rust on the steps and filters, the floors were slimy, and it all could just use an update (a new coat of paint, new posters, a new mural, anything.) disappointed to see a space I loved so much as a kid look neglected. .....I only saw the pool area and locker rooms etc. I have not seen the coliseum, but the pool needs major attention.

Hate it when you come to swim in the morning "when it says that they are open " and no one is here. It messes up my whole day. I planned on swimming with my daughter before she had to go to work. She had to change in the car. Need someone more responsible to open up in the morning.

Have they heard of the handicapped. Handicap parking was minimal. 2 of us are handicapped but had to climb 3 sets of stairs! Concessions were expensive and minimal. I didn't see one security officer. No one to answer questions. Looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80s. In desperate need of a remodeling!!

I went to a Night Ranger concert at Black River Coliseum, it was amazing! I loved how it wasn't a far walk from the parking lot to the doors!

Decent venue, parking is limited. All concessions were cash only. Wasn't prepared for that.
