We have been an MFA customer for a short time, but already can tell this company goes the extra mile for their customers. We had a few hiccups setting up our account, but the manager , Larry Morris at the Poplar Bluff Office, explained the process where we had a clear understanding of what was needed to get things going. We have had questions since, and each time we have called we receive an answer very quickly from the office and even a reach out from Larry, if the answer isn’t known by the persons answering the phone. You don’t find that kind of personal contact by very many businesses these days and we appreciate it.

The manager fixed my issue & concerns in a fast & friendly manner. Mr Morris was polite & reassuring so I will be keeping the tank & using their services for my future propane needs. It all boils down to contacting the right person with the correct information.

This place is the worst utility company I have ever dealt with. Bad attitudes, short staffed, terrible service. Try to be courteous as a professional and they still act like jerks.

MFA isn’t a good propane gas company! They won’t work with you. They’re rude, they act like there better than you are. Today August 1st went in and talked to them about a contract and she was kinda of rude. I was annoyed at the men in there talking to each other. I asked her if she could speak up bc I couldn’t hear her and she did but she acted like that aggravated her and when she got a little louder the men got louder! I was like really guys, come on!! If you run out of gas 3 times they said they would come and get out tank. So last year we tried our best to watch how much we had. And ordered more. We only ordered like 100 gallons bc that’s all we could afford. That’s like $250 for 100 gallons! Someone needs to do something about how bad they treat their customers. We want to change our services but there’s not anyone that has a tank as off right now. So basically we’re stuck with these heartless, rude, don’t care about their customers!!! Makes me sick! When I was younger they wasn’t this bad! It has really went down hill BAD!!!

Rude and useless, helpless staff. Every time I’ve had to go here. Also there’s almost never anybody to fill propane. Really horribly run business.

I would have said yes, but when I came home today and found my propane tank gone, I changed my mind. No notice before coming, no note stating that they picked the tank up, no notice that a rental was due, if that was even the reason. The tank had over 20% left in it, so no I am not happy with a company that would do that.

The Poplar Bluff office was extremely rude! They took my money out a week and a half ago and I still have not gotten my tank filled! I am about to run out of gas, I guess companies these days do not feel the need to deliver the services they are paid in advance for anymore. I had 30% when I paid them, went through that snow and super cold temps with the heat just high enough to keep pipes from freezing as gas heat is all I have. It's been a cold week and a half here.

When you need propane delivered they will not answer their business phone during normal business hours and say that they will call back, but they don't often do so.

J Mill was rep. Rude attitude. In my house with muddy shoes. We don't wear shoes inside. Left ungodly ruts all through my yard. Didn't try to find place to turn around. Told how muddy yard was. We were charged 75.00 for out of gas. They didn't.tell us that on phone.

Very Unhappy. Can't talk to anyone on the phone and they are rude when they do answer. Also kept hanging up on me when I called.

I feel that most reviews are written by people who are unrealistic in their expectations when dealing with businesses. Now, I am easy going and I have always tried to understand the other side to any conflict; but my on-going problems with MFA has forced me to write my first negative review of any business I have ever dealt with in my lifetime. We have been out of propane for almost a week and can not get any response or talk to any employee of MFA oil. We have made repeated phone calls to their office but only get an answering machine. We have left multiple messages with no response. We have no idea if or when we will have someone from MFA come to our home and fill our tank. I have talked to another propane supplier and I will be switching to them but because of the winter weather they are a couple of weeks behind on being able to bring out a propane tank (they can't put their propane in someone else's tank). I am writing this review to warn others that MFA Oil is a business that has a very negative policy towards it's customers. They have a total lack of understanding on how frustrating it is to try to keep water pipes from freezing and your home warm through below normal winter weather and being ignored by your propane supplier. At least with my new future propane supplier I will be able to talk to a real live human when I call their office. If their is anyone that is in management with MFA Oil and they care enough to read my review; I ask them to consider having a live human employee to answer their phones to help their customers with problems in getting their product. I won't know if they will change their policy because I will not be with them much longer.

Very poor coordination with customers. Ran out of propane and I called them and ordered it before I was empty. 2 days after they said they would be here they showed up and left a note on my door when I was out of town. Now I have to pay an "inspection" fee to get them to turn my tank back on. No hot water, no heat, no stove. Thanks mfa
