I bought several items and asked for a bag of ice with my check out. The clerk said that she would get my ice as soon as she checked out the person behind me. She proceeded to check out 5 Five more customers and was going for number 6 when I spoke up and told her that I had waited for 5 people and would she please get my ice for me. The next upcoming customer agreed and she went into the freezer and brought out a lumpy bag of solid ice that was obviously a refrozen bag. I refused it and put it back and picked out a real bag of ice cubes. Very disappointed in the service there.

The Prairie Home Dollar General is like most other DG stores reasonable price large variety of items exceptional service from well-trained and knowledgeable employees. The staff always clean the restrooms and there's adequate parking it's wheelchair accessible.

They're friendly most of the time. ?♀️ As is the normal though, they can't figure out the digital coupons and the total is never right. Watch your purchases. I try to explain the coupons that should have been on the total but the poor cashiers always state they can't do anything about it. Usually I just leave and purchase somewhere else. I'm really not sure why I go back. It's a bait and switch scheme which frustrated me everytime. What I did purchase is usually a decent price.

I LOVE this store - there are always great deals and interesting things to be found. The Prairie Home, MO store is the best one I've shopped, and I've been to DGs in several states. Two thumbs up!

The mask rules was in affect. people are so so about the social distancing thing. the Isles were a little tied on some of the selection was a little sub-par but this app was all right. It was handicap accessible
