My husband and I have been with Community Bank of Raymore for over seventeen years. We have never experienced any negative experiences with them. If there is any questionable activity on our account they will call. We really appreciate that! The staff has always been personable and professional. They also call and wish you a Happy Birthday. We really appreciate that too. ?

I have banked here for over 10 years. Even though I'm not a big depositor (I e. I don't have much money), this bank treats me as if I was. Any hint of fraud and I am contacted immediately, any problem I have had has been resolved promptly, and free checking (with no minimum amount required), the ATM reimbursement as well as the $10 monthly Kasasa incentive are extra bonuses. Even though I have moved out of state and out of the area, I keep my account here. I have never found another bank that treats me as well as CBR!

Mediocre as a bank. It takes 2 business days to process and post an internal transfer from one of my accounts to another that was started on Saturday. But if someone accidentally puts your checking account info in on a loan, that payment will be in same day and it's on you to raise hell over their poor fraud controls to get anything done. The Ops group seems to be all over the place and no consistency at all. The balance on the account takes into account items that are posting days into the future but they can't be bothered to put it in the ledger so you can see what it is.The website even has an icon for "scheduled" but they never use it. I've always preferred small town banks or at largest regional banks, but this one operates at the speed of banking from 30 years ago. That may work for some folks, but it's so annoying to me.When I first opened my bank I moved to the area from out of state, they put all kinds of ridiculous holds on my transfers from my old bank to this one. Didn't matter if we did a wire transfer or wrote a check, they treated us like criminals to our own money. I've been all over this country and this is the only bank I've ever used that I felt like they went out of their way to treat me as a second class citizen. It'd try a different bank before going all in with CBR.

I LOVE this bank. Best experience I’ve ever had, the tellers are friendly, the personal bankers always greet me with a smile, and I always feel welcome. Far better experience from the credit union I used to go to.

Worst experience I've ever had with a bank. Nearly every employee at this branch seemed they were being inconvenienced by my being there. I opened a new account, then found out that information I was given about their banking service was a lie. I closed the account two weeks later and no one even asked why. Guess if I had opened my account with a much larger sum of money, I might have been treated better.

********Lower Your Expectations Folks*******I retired last year and my wife and I decided to move to a bank closer to home in Raymore. We’re starting to believe that was a big mistake. I’ve visited this branch every week over the the nine months and the tellers here are just plain rude. I try to break the ice most days but it’s rare that it helps. If you like friendly service look elsewhere.

It’s rare that I take time out of my day to write a review but today I am making a necessary exception. I have been a member of this bank for approximately three years. On several occasions I have received terrible customer service from a teller by the name of Mary. I have called and complained at least twice in reference to her rude unpleasant behavior and again today this time in person. Fallon a manager within this branch advised that Customer Service is taking seriously but how is this true when there is never a sign of improvement. Mary is extremely problematic rude and unpleasant. I gave her a pass at least twice before because we’re human and you never know what a person is experiencing outside of their employment. I refuse continue to make excuses for her or turn a blind eye. I hope something can be done to resolve the negative interactions she displays to the public if not I intend to find a bank where the customer experience is pivotal.

It cost 1% to to cash a check a $3200.00 check costs $32.00. Most other banks are a $5 or $8 fee.
