Ive been buying meat from pollards for about 3 years. Never had a issue up until the last 3 months. I bought around 10 pounds of ground beef and maybe 4 out of the 10 pounds was fine the rest had a awful smell. I didn’t really care to much to complain tell i was about to smoke a pork butt i had gotten in a bundle package and it is gray in the middle and has a horrible smell.

My wife and I tried Pollard's after being out of the Kansas City area for a decade (our previous go to was sold to an out-of-state entity). We asked which meats had just been cut and then left with two KC strips. As good of a cut of meat as I have bought at a butcher in the last decade. Thanks!

Went there to get some decent hamburger for Burgers I was making for
dinner. The burger was great, very tasty! They had some nice cuts of meat, so I will get some steaks and test those out pretty soon.
Nice, small town feel to the market, and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Whats the deal with the constant rotten meat and incorrect orders? Every month since i pointed out the bad meat my orders wrong. If this time i get any rotten meat i will be calling the health department!!!! Get it together before you ruin this business. and its not just a concern. You make your money and that seems to be all yall care about. Im more concerned with my family not being able to purchase quality meat and not be wasting money!!!! What a great way to deal with customers whom bring you lots of business. My whole family and quite a few friends shop here because i recommend them.

I called for whole wings price per pound. The butcher said 3.99 per pound. I then asked if the sold only flats..No. I then asked if the wings could be cut leaving the flat and tip intact, therefore only separating the drum. He said we prefer not to they are sold as party wings and phone went dead. I called back twice and received a message saying the voicemail box is full. I will not call again or spend my money here. Zero stars!
