The lady that works there has a terrible attitude. Throws my packages around every time and always nit picks my packaging. Extremely unprofessional I’ll be filling a formal complaint.

I had a package missed delivered by post office and they can care less I paid almost 300 dollars for what I ordered post office is a complete joke they won’t do nothing about it nor do they they told me this in there own words they couldn’t even tell me how to fill a missing package report out this has to be the worse post office I have ever seen in my 60 years

They mark packages as delivered before they are there. Been waiting for a package and they marked it as delivered in order to boost their numbers and make them seem better... asinine that a company can't get it figured out in 2025. Delays for weather are perfectly fine and acceptable, but to give a false confirmed delivery and forcing people to call the HORRENDOUS automated (no)help line, or fill out a form and hope to hear back in a week when your stuff will just be delivered late... just mark it appropriately, it is 2025. You're one of the oldest standing courier services in this country and you are still probably shocked you're under a 3 star rating on Google.

I love the small-town Republic Post Office. This building stands proud on the main thoroughfare as you drive through Republic. So much excitement floods the emotions as you enter this modern building. As you saunter up to the counter, you are greeted with a smile. The clerks here are so helpful! They never complain at the stacks of letters that I bring in for family and friends all over the United States. These remarkable clerks take my letters and packages with a smile, knowing that my business pays their wages. The Post Office lobby is accessible 24 hours, 7 days a week for my mail retrieval. What a great service the US Postal Service provides for all citizens. The rural mail carriers bring mail down county roads 6 days per week through all weather, including snow, sleet, rain, hail, and even those hot, sultry days of summer! Get this, The Postal Service delivers free of charge. It’s the same price to receive a letter at my rural mailbox, which is 15 miles away, then to pick it up from the Post Office. I can receive letters from all over the U.S. to my rural mailbox for Free! What an incredible value! But not only that, If I send a letter to my Uncle Hector in Alaska, it only costs 66 cents! Imagine this! For less than a dollar I can communicate with my family in Alaska!What an incredible American icon we have in our United States Postal Service! Thank you for your incredible service!!

Update-I mailed a gift to a friend from Mo. to In. The clerk was very helpful and very friendly. She gave me the list of options and delivery dates. I chose to pay $10.20 to have it delivered by Saturday, Nov 18th. (2 day delivery) It was not delivered.I checked the tracking on Monday the 20th- the expected delivery date is Sat. Nov 18th, they must be fast, that was 2 days ago.I called- The first automated voice said it was out for delivery and should be delivered today. Then a follow-up automated voice says to expect delivery between 6 am (which was over 4 hours ago) and 8 pm tomorrow! If it's out for delivery, it might take negative 4 hours or 2 days to deliver. Hmmm? Are they super fast or super slow? This is getting ridiculous.After 40 min waiting to talk to someone, she told me there wasn't anything she could do for me, I would have to physically go back to the post office. Then why did you print this number on my receipt? I should have gone to a private service! The Post Office is the best government-run business in history and it's a complete failure!Original review-My aunt, who is disabled, moved to Republic Every week we receive a stack of mail that isn't hers. For two years, I have taken stacks and stacks of mail back to the Republic Post Office.They always say the handler is new. They say they will let them know. For over a year and a half, no changes?Every time I take a bundle of mail back to be returned, it reminds me that the US postal service is a failed business, loses money every year, and has to be bailed out by taxpayers.

Had something I needed to sign for. Watched the mail lady stop at mail box leaving a note saying sorry we missed you. I immediately called the post office. She lied and said she rang the door bell. When I brought up checking the ring camera she said she would come back lolz. Terrible.

I give five stars to the mail lady who still puts my mail in the box even if a car is parked in the front spot. The lazy guy just skips it and puts mailbox blocked. Its the holidays and I have been waiting on important packages. But my neighbor has family over (BECOUSE ITS THE HOLIDAY!!!! ) and they parked in front of my house which has a small front yard. There is no way to part there without blocking the path of the mailbox. Its a legal parking spot. So of course people will park there. Get out and take the three steps to the box. It wonk kill you.
