Okay, so I'm typically not one to fuss but on this I feel I need to share. The new post master at Richland didn't break any rules per say but I am skeptical of the wisdom of his actions. I ordered an autographed concert ticket off ebay. The seller opted to ship it media mail. It isn't something I would have done but that's what he chose. It made it all the way to Richland but there the postmaster decided that he should open it to discern if it was indeed something that should have shipped media mail. He decided it wasn't which I don't have a problem with. What I do have a problem with is now I was forced to drive all the way over there to pay the postage due. Again rules are rules and I get that they need to be enforced but in this instance I feel a genuine analysis of the facts would have been warrented. The original shipping would have been the standard commercial media rate of 2.17. The parcel was standard legal envelope size and weighed less than 1 ounce. Also the thickness was less than 1/32. It is something that easily would have qualified for standard letter rate. Instead he decided to bill it at the first class parcel rate so now a letter required close to 4.00 shipping. All of this was "by the book" but was it wise? The postage paid more than covered letter rate. Even if you figure in tracking you would be very close to first class shipping. How much time, effort, gas, and manpower was wasted so that that extra questionable 1.46 could be gained. It just seems to me that there were better options than the one pursed.

You can get some great carriers and then you can get some that give you your neighbors mail and mail for people who live on different roads than you.

This post office and some of their workers need training desperately.They don't do their jobs like they're supposed to do and it all probably falls back on their boss. We are always having to complain about our mail not showing up and we have informed delivery so we know when we're supposed to be getting mail and what mail it is and they just don't even deliver it sometimes though keep it a day or two I guess they just want to go through our mail and see how much information they can find out about us horrible place I WOULD ADVISE ANYBODY THAT IS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS POST OFFICE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES TO GET INFORMED DELIVERY AND WHEN IT DON'T SHOW UP WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO REPORT IT IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEM TO START TREATING PEOPLE RIGHT JUST GET INFORMED DELIVERY

I had a certified letter coming so I was waiting on mail man, well when I noticed him I started walking to my mailbox, he gets there and takes off as I'm walking towards him and only puts a paper in there saying sorry he missed me.... literally seen me headed his way though

Horribly rude in the store. The mail lady does not give us all our mail. And this morning she decided to run over our trash can and then stomp on the lid to apparently “fix” it. I watched this from my window. Can’t call the store because they have a 1-800 number. Very dissatisfied from day one and now completely unsatisfied after what I witnessed today. Wouldn’t even give them one star.

I checked my Po box for 3 weeks waiting for a yellow slip or a key to pick up my package but they never notified me when it was in. I went in to ask the workers where my package was after week 3 of waiting and they said they got it in over 2 weeks ago. So it was sitting behind their desk for 2 WEEKS and never notified me or tried to give it to me.
