Vahida is a top quality branch assistant manager. She very patiently helped me work through a very tricky billpay/bill-direct & ebills issue: I was slightly frustrated with (not StlCCU but) BOA card, when I was able to sit down with Vahida. I had spent by then over 10 hours in 8 or 9 calls on the phone to my BOA credit card, all in trying to simply set up monthly statement ballance payments from my STLCCU account. She discovered an old address discrepency that was definitely helpful in the resolving process.Later another day I stoped by and was able to sit with her when I was close to the end of then 12 to 13 in total added hours on the phone with BOA! Fortunately she was a voice of sanity in helping me clarify banking terms when I kept getting differing definitions by BOA's customer service reps with every call.

SLCCU has been an excellent experience for my family vehicle purchases and local banking. I will always recommend them

I have tried to report a lost debit card for 5 days. It's busy 24/7 as is every other contact number. I love the idea of credit unions, but this one has built a wall to keep customers out.

Matthew at the Big Bend Location in Maryland Heights is forever pleasant and fast paced. I'll be on my lunch break whenever I stop in and he gets me out of there quick! All while delivering outstanding customer care. Thanks Matthew!!

This location is the best one I've been to. They have more than two tellers most days. And it's hardly ever a long wait. However, this bank is designed with blacks in mind. Unlike other credit unions they offer you nothing in the lobby like coffee water or some sort of snacks. This is because they don't respect the black dollar but probably 95% of the customer base and employees that you see are black. They need to step up the customer service and get the shoes off the necks of the employees so they aren't just text book talking and offer real solutions to problems instead of what massa said. I wish I didn't need this bank in my life but I have no choice in this time in my life.

Very displeased with almost everything here. when buying my house wouldn't approve me and when I went to normal mortgage broker and told him reason he laughed and said he never heard of that. With an income of 80k per year he had no problem financing me a house ....credit union wouldnt with a good credit score and 8 years of working with no gaps but Career change 2 years before caused a denial????? No gaps in work quite on a Friday started new career on a following Monday. ....Have had tellers give me problems when depositing larger amounts of cash from selling vehicles have had to fill out paper work when amount was less than required amount for cash deposits that requires the extra paper work. List does go on but I will stop there

Great tellers! TERRIBLE member services team. Never expect to be helped in less than 30 minutes, even when people are just sitting at their desks.

Had a very disappointing experience today. After waiting in a very long line (need more staff) I tried to deposit a check into my business account. I do this once or twice a month with no issue, and I try to make sure I go in with my member or account number as I'm a member of Neighbors which is a shared branch. Today I happened to not have my account number with me and was told they would not look up my profile. I had multiple other ways to be identified, which has never been a problem in the past, but today they were unwilling to help.

The location and people in the credit union are all really solid. I applied for a car loan, and they were very easy to work with. The only reason for it to be not 5 stars is the credit unions website is really, really bad. Difficult to use, limited options.

Pros: I was so happy to leave the evil corporate stooges at Bank of America! Hello, little credit union, here's our money. I feel much better not supporting a corporate giant. I have also found their drive through to almost always be empty, and therefore pretty quick! Every employee I've interacted with there has been friendly and helpful. They have a big parking lot with ample parking available. Cons: I really being able to deposit a check with just an app. Now I actually have to drive to the bank to do it. The interior of the branch is mildly seedy. Lastly, their website is a little dated and could use some work. All in all, though, we are glad to give them our business.

I'm done with this credit union. I use this branch and the one on Forest Park. I have run into issues with checks being held for 7 business days. Expect to beg the manager to not hold you money for 7 business days if you plan on depositing checks of any size over $1,000. The customer service is the worst as well. All calls go to a central call center. There are no direct numbers to the branches. When I called in yesterday, I was #29 on hold and had to wait 40 minutes in order to ask a simple question. But at least they have an app, right? Wrong. The app is useless and doesn't enable check deposits. I am looking for a better place to store my money.

The ATM gives $5 bills. Incredibly useful!
