The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a thrift store with very reasonable and great prices. It offers used clothing, kitchen appliances, furniture, shoes, glassware, VCR tapes, framed pictures, table cloths, bed linens, and knick knacks. The staff is always friendly, very kind, and helpful. As a small town store, it does not always get the type of donations bigger cities have, but customers rarely leave empty handed. The store also hosts a Harvesters food distribution, providing high quality groceries. It is noted that more volunteers are needed to help sort donations. A senior citizen discount is available on Mondays. The store is considered a nice place commensurate with its small town.
