“Love taking a step back in time. Visting Dicks reminded me of the 60s when my grandmother would take me to a Ben Franklin Dime Store in Illinois. Dicks is great memories and great shopping. Love to see the overhead train.”

“I tried to get some engraving work done on some 1911 pistol grips. I was a little confused on the process to be honest. Anyways, the work didn't get done for some technical reasons (not enchanted memories fault) . They returned everything to me promptly and my deposit. It didn't work out this time but one day I'm sure they'll get my business. And just a note , all the ladies I dealt with at the store were lovely.”

“We didn't eat here but ordered the world famous fruit cake. It was too tough to wait while it was in shipment due to eagerness to try it after reading all the reviews. Below is my ratings: Packaging: 5/5 Presentations: 5/5 Taste: 3.5/5: honestly, after trying German and French fruit cakes, I was thinking that the cake will be gone on first day itself in the family of four. Not the case. It tasted sugary with something not natural in fruits or nuts. Did have a aftertaste of spice. I found out its ingredient include corn syrups, cherrie with all colored dyes, canned fruits. Well, with so much of hardworking with hand making and hand baking, natural ingredients might be used. Might be good for holidays and to try out couple of times. Good job for all the hard work.”

“We love going to Big Cedar. And the Shoppe has such a wonderful selection of items for any age. The ladies at the check out were amazing! They were all very friendly, knowledgeable about the numerous items, they seemed to genuinely care about your experience, not just in the Shoppe but at Big Cedar. While I was in line which was not very long… I saw them help numerous customers in different ways. Each one left with a smile and any questions answered. Excellent job ladies!
