Best place to take your kiddos for this type of sport! We checked all of them out and this place was the only one worth 5 stars in every department!! They met all our needs and then some ! We will be re-enrolling our girls here soon again before the holidays ! The staff are all great !!

All 4 of my children, plus myself, at some point have been or are currently enrolled at Edge Gymnastics-Kansas City. We have had at least five birthdays or parties there, plus attend 100+ open gyms, and we do privates on Sundays. The new updates to the gym are amazing and you can truly see that the owners, Gerri & John love their gym and want to do what’s best for the athletes, while making as many parents as possible happy.I am absolutely in love with the new preschool room. Not only is the AC on point, but the enclosed space allows the preschoolers to stay more focused on the tasks at hand.Plus, I cannot wait to see all the new skills that the athletes will gain by having the awesome new in ground pit built by S&S Excavation, aka my amazing hubby Spencer.Highly recommend!

It is a nice little clean place but it's always just so hot in there I don't know if it's the building that it's made out of metal or what

So 3 of my kids have been attending edge for several years and absolutely love it. The coaches push them to be better every practice, and my son wants to be just like coach Josh. It's pretty amazing to have a local gym here in Riverside MO that competes and wins on a National LEVEL!That being said, this is a gym you bring your kids to if you want them to do gymnastics on a competitive level. If you're more into jumping on trampolines and playing around, there are other places specific to that. The new renovations are amazing and well thought out. You can see the floor much better and the in ground pit is a great addition to allow further skills challenges. The preschool area is so much better with being closed in. My 3yr old isn't distracted by all the other things going on in the gym now. Also the a/c is amazing since little ones are more sensitive to that. Great idea giving them their own closed off space!A+++ to owners and staff that care about its gymnasts success!

We have been bringing our young kids here for years and we’re mostly happy with the place, but they recently “upgraded” the todler area which is now smaller (though they will tell you it is bigger) and stuffy and stinky. Also, they removed all seating for parents. The teacher are fine, but the new set up is not good at all. I would recommend finding a new gym for your kids under 5.

I am not going to sign up for my kids any more. it was wasted my time and money. the teacher who teach my sons on today (05/09/23)is the bad teacher I ever see. he always being meant to my older son and always ignoring him. my son ask him the questions he never answer him. he tell my younger son jump on the tall monkey bar ( he not even can reach it) and he is not near by him to help at allafter the class finished they tell all the kids go outside play the bubbles. he let all the kids have a chance to play with the bubble gun except my older son(he stand right in front him and ask him for three times and he still didn't let him get a chance)what is wrong with you??? huh...... I pay money for you to teach my kids and you are not doing your job to teach them (they are the kids and when they don't know how to do and you not even show them how to make it)you should go some where to learn how to being a good couch before you get the job

We attended open gym with our toddler today and, quite frankly, are surprised that this gym could operate with athletes in the condition it is. It’s incredibly dirty - the floors, the walls, the air. A very pungent and musty smell greets guests upon entrance. Dust coats the walls and cobwebs are found everywhere. The mats are old, some are split and exposing foam. The floors are filthy. The gym is, simply put, unkept. Two staff members are not nearly adequate to control the chaos of the max capacity crowd, especially when there are grown men-sized teenagers bouncing around one and two year olds. Parents are lackadaisical and inattentive, which honestly poses a danger to the littlest guests. We won’t be back, and parents who care about sanitation and safety shouldn’t either.

We went for a private field trip for school. I would imagine when it is filled with alot of kids it could get congested. Overall the kids had a good time and that is what matters.

I enrolled my energetic 3 year old boy in a class at Edge Gymnastics. There was minimal structure to the classes so my kiddo relied heavily on having fun with a friend in the class which could prove disruptive at times. Without getting into all the details, at the end of the first session, out of the blue, without any prior communication my sons instructor loudly, publicly, in front of parents and my beautiful 3 year old son asked we choose a different time slot than hers. Had this been a private conversation it could've ended differently. If there's an issue, address it with me. Privately. Never in front of my 3 year old child. If you want to try to publicly shame me, go for it but I assure you I will never feel anything but love and pride where he is concerned. I emailed Edge and asked for a refund of the money I paid for the next session. I was contacted very quickly and after a lengthy conversation encouraged to come back and give another class a try and if we didn't love it we would receive a full refund. When the class started I asked my kiddo if he wanted to go to gymnastics. He said yes and that he was excited to see his friend. I explained his friend wouldn't be there. He decided he didn't want to go. And quite frankly that is completely fine with me because, while I had a wonderful conversation with the manager, I was still very uncomfortable with him going back despite any promises made of new classes, new teachers, etc. I reached out to Edge again and explained we wouldn't be attending any of the session we had paid for and asked for a refund but didn't receive a response. I reached out a second time but still no response. So here I am writing this review in hopes that parents of kiddos that have a lot of energy think twice about enrolling them with Edge Gymnastics. Unfortunately Edge isn't our village.

My daughter loves her class here, the instructors are always nice and give each kid personal feedback :) The 10 week class she's doing is $150 which seems to be a fair price.
