This particular Dollar General had EVERYTHING a person could want! They even sold alcohol. I guess that was because it was in the heart of the Ozarks!

most clean and enjoyable dollar general I've ever been to, employees are usually always nice,had an older employee laugh at me for looking for a good deal and talk down to me last I was there though.

The employees at the Dollar General in Rocky Mount that smoke need to do it some place besides right in front of the door. I was there about 6pm and walked up to the door and was stopped by the smoke . It was so thick that I had to leave and didn't go in to get what I needed.

I am changing my review, as my opinion of this store has changed. My husband and I were just at this store, it being our local store, and I asked the single employee there if they no longer carry shoes, and I was informed that Dollar General is not a clothing store. When I said that they used to have shoes, she replied hatefully they did before the store was remodeled. A YEAR AGO. It was needlessly rude, I was just asking a question. She is never nice and I won't go back there because I just don't want to encounter her again.Rocky Mount DG is the best! Like the staff, but they are always short-handed, so if you need a job, apply there!?

Honestly, this Dollar General is one of the cleanest ones I have ever been too. They have good prices, deals, and a great variety of products! The staff is always friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcomed!

Come in guys...this store is never working properly. Those poor employees!! They get the brunt of customers over this store. Treat your employees better, fix your situation once and for all. Shame on Dollar General. You show us you don't care about us the customer and you clearly don't care about your employees. I will drive all day before I hit this neighborhood one again. Shame on you. Plus the air in there is thick, smelly and stagnant. Do better or close this location.

This is a great place to get what you need. It is organized pretty well even after the layout was rearranged several months ago.

Newer store that carries various items that you may need. Conveniently located off of Osage Beach parkway. They also carry various types of food, like chips , cookies, bread, chocolates, pickles to name just a few. Lots of different detergents & soaps plus bleach. Paper goods like toilet paper paper towels, wrapping paper, and cards. They have sheets and towels too if your in a pinch & need something quick and can't get anywhere else. They have hygiene products too.
