“Very quick and easy process to rent a unit on their website and very easy access to get in/out of the barn. The area is kept very clean with lots of room to go in/out with boxes, trailers ect. The staff is easy to get ahold of and very friendly to help you with whatever you need. Would recommend this place to anyone in osage area!”
“We had a fantastic stay at Lakeside Serenity this past weekend. It ended up being just my two grown sons and me, and the home was absolutely perfect for us. The entire place is tastefully decorated, peaceful, and located on a wonderfully quiet part of the lake away from the party crowds.
The layout works well, though guests should be aware that there are a lot of stairs. The spacious and comfortable bedrooms are at the parking level. From there, a set of steep stairs leads down to the well-stocked kitchen, breakfast nook, living room, and main deck. There are also outdoor stairs connecting the parking to the deck, as well as stairs leading down to the relaxing firepit area and the dock. This seems common for Lake of the Ozarks terrain, which we noticed while out on the water, but you do need good mobility to navigate the property comfortably. Since we are all agile, it was not an issue for us.
We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. There is plenty of seating throughout the property, and the bathrooms were fully stocked. We also appreciated the huge selection of games available for every taste. The host has clearly thought of everything and provides an abundance of amenities. They use a great system where items left by previous guests are kept for future use, so we had access to sunscreen, after-sun lotion, bug spray, spices, laundry detergent with dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, and even a waterproof cellphone pouch for the lake.
Our only minor critique is that the section of the deck with the propane grill lacks an outdoor light. Since we spent all our daylight hours enjoying the water, cooking dinner in the dark was a bit challenging.
We spent hours using the provided water toys, including the lily pad, floating chairs, saddles, and the two kayaks. Communication with the host was quick and thorough, even when I sent a message later in the evening. I highly recommend this property, especially for larger groups, which would make this excellent experience even more affordable.”

“We have had our unit for about 3 months. Everything is how we would expect it to be. Except, on weekends the secure gate is left open all day long. A person has yard sales every weekend and appears to be blocking units. My worry is who is coming in and out and whose to say they won't get into my unit on the secluded backside. I chose this unit because it had a locked gate. I didn't know it would be left open every weekend.”
