“Pro tip!!! Start with a dollar of change and make sure that the machine has the payment system that you want!!! Every other machine I have been able to get a gift card. It even showed the option but I could not select it! So I paid the 12% fee and went on with life. Had I known that I would have to pay the fee I would have just taken it to my local bank but all of my money was in the machine by the time I figured it out!!! Pro tip #2 the big banks generally don't accept change. So go to a credit union or a local bank. Just ask nicely if they have a change to machine at the location! If yes then just go for it. If they ask you if you have an account with them. Just tell them that your ( mom, dad, aunt)has been a customer for years. They will 99% of the time take your coins and give you the cash back!!!”
