I wish I could give zero stars. Stay away from this location, rude, nasty and racist and unprofessional. I tried to cash check branch manager took long when asked her a question she stated it’s only been 2minutes. The audacity to get upset after I’m waiting a while when no one was working really they just call you on their time leisurely. Sat down entered info gave my check back along with id and threatened me all because I asked I stated it’s never taken this long. I cashed my check here plenty of times as it’s a commerce bank check. Although they’re rude and nasty this location is by my house. Why should I have to go out of way to cash a check. I have never in any years of my life been treated so wrong. If your that rude and nasty customer service is not the job for you or fake it. It doesn’t take much to be nice. There are no people of color I think color played a part although I’m very light skin but at the same time it’s a reason for the 2 star rating it has. The branch manager and other staff need to be replaced immediately.

Needed change for a hundred dollar bill. Girl says "I need an ID" I say it's a cash to cash transaction, you shouldn't need an ID" . Manager comes on and says "you can't talk to my employees like that". Sorry to bother you, maybe she's your girlfriend and you thought you were helping. Nobody should be treated the way you 2 treated me. Only 2.5 stars for a bank. Most likely bad management. Seriously miss Vivian and Pat, those 2 knew how to take care of this branch. 22 yrs with Commerce and if something isn't done soon. We won't be here for 23.Older reviews below...Horrible wait times in drive thru. Cant go in lobby, so you sit and wait with gas burning away.. --new-- here to deposit 400 in cash, wow, how long I've been waiting for them to count it. Sorry it was so much work.

Went to open a debit card and they did not activate it or ask to put money on it. Waste of time.

I have had a series of unprofessional and lousy experiences with this branch. My latest problem is I just deposited a check for $550 and my receipt is for $500. The teller admitted a mistake but is unable to give me a proper receipt. This is another item of a list of issues I have had over the past couple of years.

The ABSOLUTE worst Customer Service ever! On October 12, 2021, I went to the bank to make an ATM deposit for my rent, clearly the ATM was faulty and there was an issue with me making my deposit. As a result of that, $200 of my money was not returned to me from the ATM. I go into the bank to speak with someone about the matter, tell them what's going on and that I needed the issue resolved or escalated because it was part of my rent. No one cared, they acted as if they couldn't do anything. Everyone's looking at me like they don't know what to do, like they didn't believe what I was saying. It was all weird and uncomfortable and not conducive to being in Customer Service. I asked one of the guys at the front desk if there was anything that could be done, could they do a provisional credit until the audit was done? He ACTED as if he wanted to assist but didn't do anything. He told me to call the 800 number and file a claim. I'm thinking, shouldn't that be YOUR job? I was told that, "We will be on hold the same amount of time as you so you should call." They left me with a NEW Bank Associate who had no clue what to do. He was the ONLY helpful one. He even went to speak with the Branch Manager who didn't seem to care either as he sat in front of me in his office ( we could see each other because his desk was literally facing me) and still nothing. NO ONE DID ANYTHING! I am new to St Charles and this was my first time at this bank and this is the way that I was dealt with or lack there of as a Customer. So off putting. I will be reaching out to Corporate as well as the BBB in regards to the matter.

It's went downhill here. They take forever they have all kinds of tellers and it still takes 20-25 minutes in the Drive-Thru takes longer inside. Used to be a fantastic crew there about 6 months to a year ago

I will never work with this bank ever again. My parents had accounts at Commerce Bank. When my dad passed away, I brought them my parents POA documents. Commerce Bank refused to recognize their POA documents. All other businesses recognized my parents POA documents. This invalidated my ability to act in my mother's behalf. I could not do simple things like request tax documents be sent to my mom. The POA documents were developed by a lawyer with 50 years of experience and had previously been a Prosecuting Attorney for St Charles County, where they did their business. I found out that I was not the only person who had this problem with Commerce Bank.

Absolutely the worst customer service in the industry. I was a customer for over 15 years. On numerous occasions I was left disappointed and frustrated. The last straw for me was when I tried to dispute a 10.00 charge on my debit card and waited on hold 3 different times for a total of 2.5 hours without speaking to anyone. When I called the branch I was directed back to the same holding pattern. When I called to make the appointment to cancel my account the person (Mary) could have cared less. I also spoke with Irene who was about has receptive as Mary.

It’s 2020, who charges a “convenience fee” for an online auto loan payment? You are forced to wait in a long line that took a half hour to get to the window. The only other option is mailing it in having to buy stamps, envelopes, risk getting lost in the mail or stolen with your information on it and wasting paper. Most pathetic customer service/experience I’ve ever had. Go to first community if you want decent service

Absolutely NO customer service. Whenever I arrived, I had to wait outside and it's okay during this rough times for everyone. It was my appointment time, but I couldn't get in. There was a number on the door, which I called. I have been on hold for 13 minutes before someone answered. I spent 15 mins of my scheduled appointment time outside before I could come in. The lady on the phone never apologized and said "we are busy." It's not a good reason for wasting my time. I scheduled an appointment. This was supposed to be my time. Will never return to this location.
