This bank is a joke, do NOT use them for your mortgage lender. they will cheat you, they have no clue what they are doing. they collect the wrong amount of escrow. they send your statement for the month that has one amount, the online account has another amount, and an email has yet another amount. they try to make you pay more on insurance, when you already paid in full for a year. they want 500.00 to close escrow so you can do it yourself and avoid all their mistakes. Absolute worst bank I have ever used, and now stuck for years. Everyone you talk to has something else different to say, most are clueless. It take months to straighten out their mistakes. The most stressful thing ever when I am busy with other things and have to deal with calling them 2-3 times a week. they will rip you off if you want to make any changes to your account. Never had a bank so dishonest as this one. STAY AWAY!!

Mindy and team at FSB were professional, and gave clear explanations to get us through some issues that developed from seller not able to meet their responsibilities. She helped us get thru it all with grace. She was very compassionate and always put our needs first. Amazing service and I highly recommend her to any and all when buying a home. We have used her for several purchases and had the best experience every time!

I highly recommend contacting Mindy Primm at First State Bank of St Charles with any financing needs. She is amazing! Prompt, detailed and always available for what I sometimes called my "dumb" questions. We've used her for several home purchases along with a couple refinances and have recommended her to friends and family.
