I am utterly appalled and dismayed by the egregious level of incompetence and lack of empathy displayed by the staff at this CVS Pharmacy. This review comes after a harrowing experience that not only showcased a blatant disregard for customer service but also a disturbing lack of concern for the well-being of a child in need of medication. Our ordeal began when we attempted to fill our son's prescription at our local CVS, only to find they were out of stock. Following their advice, we contacted this CVS location, which confirmed they had the medication available. Our doctor promptly sent the prescription to this second location, and we were informed via text that the prescription was ready for pickup, along with the total cost. However, in a shocking turn of events, merely an hour later, we received another text stating the medication was out of stock.Confused and concerned, we reached out to the pharmacy for clarification, only to be met with a response that was both shocking and unacceptable. The staff informed us that they had decided to reserve the medication for a "regular customer," despite having already filled our prescription and informed us it was ready for pickup. Astonishingly, they admitted they didn't even have a prescription from this other customer yet but justified their actions by stating that since we did not frequent that location often, they would not fulfill our son's prescription needs. To add insult to injury, they flatly refused to release the prescription, making it impossible for us to seek the medication elsewhere. This decision has left us in a dire situation, as our son will run out of his medication in a few days, and with our doctor's office closed, we are left scrambling to find a solution. This behavior is not only a dereliction of duty but a clear indication that CVS Pharmacy values its so-called "regular customers" over the health and well-being of a child in urgent need of medication. The staff's decision to prioritize an unconfirmed prescription over an already filled and confirmed one is not only unethical but potentially dangerous. It is clear from this experience that CVS Pharmacy and its staff have a lot to learn about compassion, responsibility, and customer service. I am deeply disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I urge CVS Pharmacy to reevaluate its policies and staff training to ensure that no other family has to endure such a reckless and heartless experience. This behavior is unacceptable, and I hope my review serves as a wake-up call for CVS Pharmacy to make immediate changes in how they treat their customers and manage their inventory. No family should ever have to face such negligence and lack of care.

Everyone is always so helpful! I know they are busy but I never feel like a burden when I call with questions. Want to especially thank Hannah who helped me out with an insurance issue. Great staff, keep up the good work!

Called checking if they had qty of my prescription available, as, the locations at First Capital, inside Schnucks and CVS stand alone didn't.They were prompt, friendly and filled my script, and also offered me a flu shot (which, I accepted) and sent a confirmation of such too my primary care physician. Thanks

I received my Covid booster on Monday by Wednesday my arm was so sore and red and hot to the touch I had to go to urgent care on Wednesday they told me my shot was given way too high in my shoulder instead of my muscle so now I have cellulitis that won’t go away I’ve been on three rounds of antibiotics and two steroids and my arm still hurts. Do yourself a favor don’t get your booster shot there I got mine done by an Asian woman and I will never ever be back to that pharmacy

Sunday hours are ridiculous! Sunday hours need to be open until 5:00 or 6:00 pm like other CVS pharmacies.

Waited 4 days for my medication when doctor ordered it be processed on 13th. I was informed by doctor's office that it would be ready for pick up on 13th. Called CBS around 4 to find out if it was ready. They advised they did not carry those meds in stock and would have to order. Doctor notified them on Tuesday and they didnt order until I called advising their system did not work that way. Just moved here so decided to use insurance preferred pharmacy. I'm going back to Walgreens where I can count on my medication being ready when I need it.

After waiting on hold for 15 minutes I was told it was to soon to fill my meds. I knew this I just had them filled back up. But I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks and won't be here to fill them but they are my asthma meds. Was asked a million different questions attitude. I don't have insurance so I buy them when ever I have the money so I don't run out. They told me I had to prove I was leave! These are asthma meds! Not a narcotics! Will never shop here again it isn't worth the attuted or the hassle.. by the way Walmart is cheaper if you don't have insurance and they work with you if you don't. I miss shop n save!!
