Very convenient area to donate, and if needing to donate after hours they have an after hour area as well. “This place is absolutely amazing. It is beautiful, clean and well-managed. It is incredibly hard to see a loved one in need of more care than you can provide, and I honestly thought it would devastate our family when that time came. But my father requested to go here, in part because he had met other Veterans who lived here and they loved it. Everyone has been going above and beyond their duties to make this transition as easy as possible for all of us. What had stood out the most to me during a tour prior to my dad’s placement was that every single person who worked there was personally familiar with the patients. The person in administration who was giving the tour called every patient by their name. She knew that “Henry” needed HIS blanket out of the warmer, (not a blanket but his own personal one his family had made for him.) Again, she was an administrator whose job would not have day-to-day contact with patients yet she knew them very well. That shows she actually cares about the residents, but literally everyone we saw had similar interactions with the residents. I feel my dad is getting more social interaction than we ever could have provided as well as all the nursing care he needs.”

“GIngerbread House Continues to set the example for care in Rolla for the intellectually/medically disabled. They are full most of the time and alas was full this time. But, the director tried to help find my son another placement.”
