From the kindness shown to my toddler to lending an umbrella for the walk home, the big box stores can’t compare.”
“Very cute zero waste refill shop. By shopping here you’re making a sustainable swap & helping the environment! Some of my favorite items are their refillable multi surface cleaner (smells so good), refillable dish washer pods, and their shampoo and conditioner bars.Additionally, they have a large selection of sustainably made makeup items, kitchen items, bathroom items, and compost starters. They’ve even partnered with a few vintage stores and have vintage clothes & household trinkets, so there’s something for everyone!”
“I love popcorn and was curious about this shop, so I stopped by today with my sister. What a fun store! The owner was so friendly, her store was very clean, and the popcorn is so good! I bought several types (cheddar, butter, So St. Louis, and strawberry cream). They are all very good but my absolute favorite is the strawberry and cream. The color is gorgeous and the taste is wonderful! I highly recommend checking it out. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors!”

The owner Janet is not only a practiced and passionate candy maker, but also very friendly and funny. Highly recommend you stop by The Caramel House or call in an order!”
“First time going there, I was really impressed by how good their chocolate was! I got the chocolate letters, S & T. Along with the pumpkin spice latte truffle chocolate bar, which was SOO rich in flavor and even surprised me by having a creme filled flavor in the middle! Would definitely get again… 10/10”

“Loved this place as a kid, but today I went in and there was a huge dead cockroach on the table. That was a big nope for me. Seeing all the middleschoolers come in and get candy and then try to sit at the table where the cockroach was a deal breaker.”

“The staff is always so friendly and willing to help. Usually, when I go and am the only one in the shop, so they always help me find whatever I'm looking for. They have a wide variety of cookie cutters and food coloring options. Some other bits and bobs, too, if you are looking for something specific.”
“You can find yourself stuck in this store for an easy 30 minutes just browsing the selections and falling into spirals of amazement. Whomever is the curator of this store did a great job! From the throwback candy memories with Chick-O-Stick to the Non-USA based candy such as Banana Caramel Kit Kats, this store will have you contemplating what to buy. I settled on the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Cake, of which I have not yet tasted, forty purchase. It wasn't easy to decide on this selection, but it was the thing that I had the strongest reaction to in terms of, "wow, look at this!". Can't wait to pop it open, heat it and serve with a glass of cold milk. Let's go!”
