I cannot say enough good things about Leslie and her team. I had what I thought was a fairly complicated return that I had to file on someone else’s behalf. Leslie made it EASY! The communication was clear and the process was smooth. I cannot recommend her enough!

I've been going to Leslie Schmidt's office to have my taxes prepared since 2016. Every single employee provides excellent customer service. They make you feel like you're an old friend! It's comforting to go every year and know your taxes will be done properly!!

I have been a client of Leslie D. Schmidt CPA PC since 2016. If you're going to H.R. Block or Jackson Hewitt for tax preparation, I feel you're spending way too much money! Every year, I actually look forward to my tax preparation appointment--weird, I know--because it's comforting to know that I have an accountant who is not only an expert on current tax law, but every single employee welcomes you as if you're an old friend! Call early, because they book up fast!!!

This office is organized and all business. They meet with you for an hour to go over every detail and then are incredibly efficient in preparing the tax returns. Highly recommend!

Leslie is amazing!! If you are looking for a "tax person" she is your go-to! She is really good at what she does and she works FOR you! Meaning, she will ask you different questions that might help you avoid owing taxes and potentially receive a refund!She is down to earth and just a real, genuine person. If you don't understand something, she will explain it to you so that you can understand AND not make you feel stupid for asking!I have been going to Leslie for my taxes for at least 20 years! There were a couple of years I tried to do them myself or have someone closer in proximity to us do them and found myself right back with Leslie!! When you have a great thing, why change???And, did I mention we live in Wentzville and will drive to Sappington to see her! She is worth every minute of the drive!But, through the years she continues to make improvements with the latest one being the portal!! We can now upload all of our documents to her and have a simple phone call to go over everything! She then sends the forms back to us, we electronically sign them and she sends them off. Now THAT is worth it to me! Convenience!If you are looking for a tax person or accountant, make sure to put Leslie on your list! You won't regret it!

Leslie has been my family's CPA for over a decade and was my wife's CPA even before then. She is considered by us to be part of the family. Our most favorite member around tax time each year. She is so knowledgable of the tax code and always has her customer's best interest in mind. Her attention to detail and never "mailing it in" is inspiring. Thank you Leslie!!!
