Bought a pole lamp and another lamp from Steve. The pole lamp was buried by the window so that he had to dig it out
. I paid for the two lamps and he told me to take the shade out and be careful with it. I come back in and take the lamp and when I am back he has the lamp behind the counter plugged in. I take it home and find that the switch when turned off seizes up and will no longer move. I call in with a couple alternatives for return and he make clear no return. I paid 250 for the lamp that had plastic shade that I thought were glass until I went to take it but I offered to exchange even for a lamp he had at 200 or give him another 100 for a lamp he had for 350 no no. I stated that I found it hard to believe he didn’t know that lamp was broke and he said now you are calling me a liar and hangs up on me. The interesting thing about it is that he knew that the switch was part of the socket but he didn’t know it was broke. Bottom line is check it all out well before he takes the money and NO RETURNS. Buyer beware!

Nice selection of furniture, but often unhappy with the way the owner treats customers. Just stopped by during business hours to buy a dresser that was posted and store was closed. It was a 20 minute drive so we’d checked his facebook site before leaving and nothing was posted about unexpected closing After a bit the owner came out and said it was closed because of no electricity. Asked if we could still look. He said no because he didn’t have cameras. He could have asked what we are looking for, followed us around the store, and made a quick sale.

This place is fabulous for Mid-Century Modern Antiques. Prices are a little high, but the pieces are hard to find so at the same time reasonable. I wish the owner was more welcoming and helpful.
He did not say hi or seem to care if I was even there in his shop.
If your gonna own a shop you need to be welcoming and friendly with your customers.
I was gonna buy a chrome table I thought was fantastic, but he never even asked if I needed help.
Appreciate your store you have fabulous Mid-Century Modern Antiques, but please appreciate people coming to your store too.

Really amazing quality mid century pieces. The prices are a mixed bag, some are really reasonable and some are priced really high. My issue and why they didn't get a 5 star: the person running the shop didn't say a word to us or even acknowledge we were there, bordering on ignoring us. It was really strange and off putting to the point that we didn't buy a few things we were interested in because it made us so uncomfortable.

Nice single vendor antique store specializing in mid century modern furniture and accents. Prices are reasonable on most items and there are several items you will likely never see elsewhere. A decent amount of colored glass that you usually only find one piece at a time in other stores. A good stop for regular antiquers, a must for the mcm collector.

Pricing was a little highz nit to mention things were labeled incorrectly (I understand that though, it's hard sometimes!). The biggest issue was that you couldn't get to anything! I could nit physically touch any of the items I was interested in as things were piled up so bad. Almost all the glassware (which is what I came for) was tagged " please ask for assistance" but the man behind the counter was anything other than willing to help, and barely said hello when we walked in, I had to speak first. overall I just simply don't recommend it.

Love it! Many treasures to be found in this place and reasonably priced too! If you're into mid-century modern and antiques, you should visit Nana's Attic!

So much fun stuff here! Walked away with a beautiful green swung 36" nubby butt vase. Will definitely visit again when in STL!
