“Seligman MO Post Office was just another standard office. The people here do a great job. First established in April 1872 the town was first name Herdsville. In 1880 after the railroad came into town it was renamed in honor of Joseph Seligman, a wealthy railroad financier, can't help but wonder if there was a reason for this. $$$$.”

“#298 Stop by the Garfield AR Post Office to take a look around at this new looking building. The PO was very clean but had no sign that said when it was builded. The people who work here do a great job keep up the good work. Sure a step up from what they had back in 1881. When the town was asked to be name by the railroad suggestion were place in a hat and the town got if's name from the luck of the draw. The name of Garfield was suggested to honor the assassinated president.”
