The Smithville USPS has a very rude young female employee at the customer service desk. She has a terribly unfriendly attitude. My advice to her: If you hate your job and working with the public this much, quit and find another job! I will do my business at the Plattsburg USPS from here forward. The Plattsburg employees are much more friendly, and they serve their customers with respect and with a smile.

Smithville Post Office is the worse Post Office with lazy, lying, misleading, rude and arrogant employees and Assistant Manager. They didn't deliver my online packages and they lied about them. They they delivered my international packages and documents to the wrong country for more than 6 months when I paid a lot for their delivery services. They're so corrupted and super lazy and rude.
I will never ever use this post office anymore. Don't waste your time, energy and money for this post office!!!!
I hope Trump will do something with USPS as it's been wirse for many years. It needs a Big Change!

I get my neighbors mail alot also their packages
I then have to walk them down there. Please ask your delivery people to look at the names and Addresses of the mail they deliver. Thank you

First & Foremost they definitely need to hire some more people & hire people who aren't lazy & rude!! Each time my husband & I have came in to pick up our mail in the mornings we wait forever to be helped, we've said hello anyone here, usually we don't get a response and continue to wait. Today after receiving a response, the girl kept me waiting for another 10 mins before helping me. I asked her if I could pick up my mail because I needed to get to the bank before the mail ran because our driver doesn't drop our mail off until 4/5 in the evening. She proceeds to get an attitude and tells me my mail gets dropped off between 130/2 I have proof on my ring camera that's a lie. Trys to basically tell me I am lying. Tells me to come back around noon, so I did. This time I show up she lies straight to my face and tells me I had absolutely no mail when they fingered through it. However, I have proof in my email each day I receive that I had several pieces of mail. I walk out because I am literally about to go off on this lazy disrespectful girl!! No wonder they have low ratings!! They need new employees who are kind and helpful and not sitting around in the back making people wait for when they're ready to do their job. I will be going over her head! I will be talking to other people about this. It's time for a change with this post office!

Probably the worst postal service I’ve experienced. The staff at the post are rarely able to help or find your packages. And if they do it’s usually on the wrong route due to their mistakes. They’ll say you have a package they attempted to deliver and is available for pickup. But if you check your cameras the carrier clearly doesn’t attempt delivery and when you show up for pickup they usually have it out for delivery without notifying you. Wasting your time. not to mention they always have an attitude if you have any questions like it’s an inconvenience

Truly the worst post office I’ve ever dealt with. They have lost two of my packages now both were given to someone else and now we don’t know if we’ll get it back. The phone rings and no one answers it. The only helpful person there is a sweet girl named Kianna who needs a raise because she does too much for what little I’m sure they pay her.

Sent a item second day delivery from this PO, nearly 10 days later the recipient still has not received the package. The call center is a joke & nobody at this location was of any help.I simply asked for a refund & was told by the clerk here she would have to check with the local post master to see if that was possible as I might have to wait for the package to be delivered! Wait What?? The problem is IT WAS NEVER DELIVERED!!she took down my phone number but of course nobody ever called. She was kind of condescending and patronizing to boot! She said I’d have to fill out a claim form online for a refund, come to find out, through the website, one of your options is to go to the local post office for a refund, in fact I was curious about this answer because I had gotten refunds at the local post office before for the exact same problem. Obviously I don’t expect them to do anything about this my post is simply to inform other people, you may pay a couple of extra bucks at FedEx but you’re definitely better off!

Paradise route lady with the white jeep is lazy and won’t deliver packages. Called the post office to ask why our package’s aren’t getting delivered. They said she’s afraid to get attacked by a dog. We don’t even have a dog.. She will sit in her car and honk for 10 minutes for us to come out. If we don’t come out, she leaves with the package. She can’t walk 5 feet to put the package at the front porch because I guess it’s too far? Sometimes she’ll leave the package at the end of the driveway that’s right by the highway. I don’t usually complain but I’m tired of not getting our package’s delivered.
