Five Stars – Honest, Trustworthy, and Truly Go Above and Beyond
I’ve been using Wright’s Auto for nearly 30 years, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about this shop. I’m lucky to have a husband and dad who are fairly car-savvy and handle a lot of the basic maintenance for me—but when it’s something beyond our abilities, Wright’s is the only place I trust.
They’ve always been honest, fair, and incredibly thorough. While they may not be the absolute cheapest, they are far from the most expensive, and their integrity and expertise are well worth every penny.
Most recently, I brought my Jeep in for a check engine light issue. After replacing the O2 sensor with OEM parts ourselves, we still got the same error. We suspected a fuel pump issue, but before spending $450 on the part and hours of labor, we took it to Wright’s. They carefully examined everything, ruled out the fuel pump and several other potential causes, and traced the issue to the PCM—something that unfortunately has to be handled by a dealership.
Wright’s spent a significant amount of time diagnosing the issue and still only charged a basic diagnostic fee. What really impressed me, though, is how they continued to support us even after the Jeep left their shop. When the dealership started pushing unnecessary repairs, Wright’s stood by their findings, explained everything to us clearly, and even called another local dealership directly to advocate on our behalf and ensure they understood what had already been done.
That kind of service is rare. I’ve had several other great experiences at Wright’s over the years, and it’s such a relief to know there’s a local shop that I can count on to be straightforward and truly have my best interest at heart. Car repairs are never fun, but with Wright’s, I never worry about being misled or overcharged.
Highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, skilled, and caring mechanic.

Honest, Quality, and Fair priced! If you need a mechanic this is the place! We had the same mechanic in Liberty MO for 10 years. We moved to the Smithville area and needed a new mechanic. Finding a new auto shop can be scary when you have had the same people for years. Just got my wife’s car back and was beyond impressed. Collin kept me informed, didn’t do anything without checking with me, and the whole process was so professional. If you need auto service don’t fear just go to Wright’s!

It's not often one runs across a person or business that cares.
First let say, you can't please 100 percent of the people 100 percent of the time. However, after my direct interaction with the owner of this business. I have say concern and pride are part of this establishments core values. He , they come close.
I witnessed this when I listen to him speak to mother potential customers. He wasn't upselling or trying to scare people into giving him their business. He was acting like a guide who also gave a warning and strong suggestion.
I came with a driver side rear break issue. When my interaction began and after his assessment of the issue. I took note. His words were strong. Ot harsh or mean. But a strong warning g. He said. If this were my vehicle. I would not drive it. If you size up on 435, you will have issues (that can range), you will be stranded on side of road waiting for a tow and you will have to repair, replace, fix more than what your looking at.
I'm not the best at reading people, but it was easy to see, rather, hear his earnest concern for me.
I recently had work by he and his crew, and they came in about 40 dollars less than I estimated. So I was already warming up to Wright auto repair.
I live 44 Miles away and was looking at being stranded. I began making phone calls and he notice the difficulty I was having, paused a conversation he was engaged in to let me know that he would make sure I get home no matter who works on my vehicle.
I'm telling now. It is rare to find a automotive repair facility that fixes The problem you have without scaring you or trying to scare you into paying for repairs you don't need. (Some call it up selling)
This establishment/business is what evryperson needs in thier community. Where do you go to find someone/place that fixes the issue, gives you guidance, has actual concern these days.
What could they have better? Me being me. I'm suprised to say. I honestly can't think of a thing.
All glory be to the Father for people in this world you ACTUALLY care.
