I arrived at the bank at 4:45. With one person ahead of me and no one behind me I wasn’t worried. Suddenly the woman in front of me interrupted her conversation conversation with the teller that was working to ask me “what can we do for you today??” I was shocked, it was an employee of the bank-her name is Victoria, dark brown hair past her shoulders with a “V” tattooed on her right ankle. I told her I was withdrawing cash, 500. She asked “oh would you mind using the atm?” With no explanation as to why. A little confused( they were NOT busy and no one had walked up behind me at that time) I said yes and left it at that.No more than 15 seconds later she rushed to grab a ringing phone while I started to use the atm. She clearly thought talking with her co worker that WAS working and answering a phone was more important than helping me. Unfortunate, and very disappointing. Silly girls like that are why people in the customer service industry a bad name.

Don't waste your time at Academy bank. This is the worst service bank you can go to. The staff told me I could cash my 401k check cashed it and now have a hold on my check for 11 days because they changed rules that I had no clue about. I can't have any overdraft on my account I have no access. But some how they allowed this many transactions and blame me. And hold my check because of this. Never help you out. No one every knows what to tod. Bad services always. Update to this. Kelly helped me and made everything all good. She is the only person that every knows what's going on. Thank you Kelly.

If you need help due to possible fraud, local people can do nothing and the help line is totally useless if you really need to talk to a human being.

I just want to say Kelli is one of the top people i trust with my money. Time and Time again she had made sure all my business was in order, and if i saw a discrepency she would take action imidiately. im a Disabled Combat Veteran and she has shown me every repsect that you can and has treated me like family. I've been going to this bank for more than 10+ years and have never had an issue. i dont see why people leave such bad comments other than the fact they feel they need to complain about waiting in line. Its not fast food!!! Thank you Kelli!!!

I recently contracted mrsa was in hospital twice and missed 3 weeks of work without pay. My mom was so nice and sent me a check for $1000 to help me survive. I deposited into my checking account with ACADEMY. I was 15 cents overdrafted because they took out a 12 dollar montly service charge because I didn't get a check. Because of that they are putting a hold on the check for 2 weeks and starving me and making me homeless. They took the money from my mom's account that day. Thanks academy you guys are the worst.

Someone got into our account! The lady I talked to Friday was very calming told me to come in first thing sat morning, Bailey is so hard headed and I was in tears! so went in On Monday and talked to Kelli and she as always was amazing, she is working on the issue! Again Bailey needs some customer service training!

The process is always slow, slower than other banks and that is aggravated by the fact they are based out of Walmart and have huge volume of walk up business. Like all businesses since covid they have been chronically short staffed too. They used to have a stand alone branch with drive through as well, and shutting that down has made things much worse. However I have found their staff to be helpful, friendly and apologetic for long wait times. I know when people get mad over how long it takes at the bank they take it out on the staff, but it is beyond their control, and they have always treated me great
