We've rented with At Home two different occasions and have been exceptionally happy both experiences. Every time we have any issues, whether it's a small one or a big one, we get quick service. We will be happy to stay with them!

I recently had the pleasure of working with 'At Home' during my move-in process, and I am compelled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience. Initially, my new home presented several challenges, including old carpet, non-functional hot water, low water pressure, an absent fence, an insecure glass door, and a malfunctioning garage.Concerned about the state of the property, I visited the 'At Home' office to express my apprehensions. Despite my initial frustration, the customer service I received was unparalleled. The staff not only listened attentively to my concerns but went above and beyond to address each issue promptly and efficiently. What truly sets 'At Home' apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. In a world where property management companies often fall short, 'At Home' exceeded my expectations. They demonstrated a genuine understanding of my situation and took immediate action to rectify the discrepancies in my new home. From resolving the maintenance issues to ensuring a seamless and stress-free move-in process, 'At Home' showcased a level of dedication and professionalism that is rarely encountered. Their exemplary customer service turned a potentially stressful situation into a positive and memorable experience.I wholeheartedly recommend 'At Home' to anyone seeking a property management company that not only promises customer satisfaction but consistently delivers on that promise.Big shoutout to Kasha and Jamie. They really do care about making things right.

I had a maintenance person, Doyle Dixon, from At Home come to my home and work on a door frame in my garage. He was very courteous and did a great job fixing the door! All of the people I have dealt with from At Home have been very courteous! Thank you At Home!!

At Home has been amazing! They have worked with me every step of the way. They even allowed me to move into a new property when there were a few minor issues with my current place! I cannot thank them enough for being so kind and compassionate! You can tell they truly care!

I have a $650 painting charge that took the remainder of my deposit after cleaning fees. I cannot stress to you enough that there were drywall patches, sanded areas and missing paint in the living room and kitchen from the time we stepped in for a walk thru until the day our lease ended. I cannot believe that you guys would charge me to repaint a home that you had not painted before I moved in. After a year on lease with good experiences with the staff including maintenance and reception the last thing I expected was to be charged an extreme cost with no explanation. I’m hurt and disappointed. I hope that I can speak with management after the weekend and resolve this.

Quickest and nicest people I have ever dealt with when it comes to renting a property. My application was pending because they couldn't get a hold of my previous landlord for the rental reference, (and I told them they wouldn't get a hold of her, because I never could in the 3 years I rented with her.) but they found a solution for me and my kids, and got us into a home super quick. Like within 3 days quick! I highly recommend. I'm grateful for you guys. & I love my new home. Thank you Jordan, and Faith. ❤️❤️

For your safety, health, and sanity please do not live here. I cannot explain how happy I am to finally be out of this apartment. I would also like the preface this review with…please trust bad reviews, I’ve seen the responses this company leaves and I can understand a few negative things, but after going through this experience myself I know that other people are telling the truth. Let me make a few things clear I am a young female who is currently in nursing school and while living at the property manager by At Home I felt unsafe in every essence of that word. One of the things that caught my eye immediately when seeing the apartment vacancy was the 24/7 security and nightly patrol. I want to let any woman or someone who is more vulnerable in a physical sense to know this is not the truth. I lived on the bottom floor of the Grand Flats complex and would routinely have homeless people frequent my front door. This was mainly due to the location of the unit itself, being tucked under a stairway, providing an alcove for more than a few illegal things to happen, if you know what I mean. Besides the constant feeling of being in danger, in my stay I had to place multiple calls to the police to escort me to my apartment because their so called “nightly patrol” would never come. (Sorry this is lengthy, I want to make sure to highlight all of my bad experiences.) There is a terrible bug problem, this I would assume from the baseboards not meeting the flooring so there is about a 1/2 inch gap around the entire apartment. I will mention they provide “pest control” which I opted out of for the most part because the person would always spray my plants, regardless I doubt it would’ve made a difference. There is no storage in the units. A laundry room that was broken into and reeks of mold/mildew. Pool that was open for a month then closed for “repairs”. Never enough parking to accommodate residents. Mold within my unit in bathroom, not to mention the overwhelming odor of mold and cigarette smoke upon move in to the residence. I would like to mention my parents flip houses and are landlords to different tenants themselves, so I know what it takes to be a good landlord or property manager. The next question I would asssume someone would have is why not lease from them, my parents live in Jefferson City and if they did have properties in Springfield I would have definitely done that. The worst problem I experienced was a water leak that took a call from my mother to the BBB to finally get resolved. The best thing about this property were the neighbors I had next to me and above me. They always made sure to look out for me as they knew I was a young woman living by herself and they’ve told me their own experiences with this company and all I have to say is that I wish them the best luck in finding somewhere new to live. Almost forgot to mention the human feces that was left in front of my door for at least 2 weeks that was never cleaned.

Please read all the way through and read other recent reviews BEFORE renting with this company and proceed with extreme caution. We are a military family stationed in CA therefor, it makes it a bit difficult to find rentals out of state. My daughter and her two roommates found this company and a YouTube video of a property they were interested in. After filling out paperwork to lease the property, one roommate "moved in" on 17 July 2023, but was still spending a majority of his time at his parents home out of town. My daughter and I arrived on 16 August 2023 and immediately noticed several concerning issues with the home. These include mold on the ceiling, ill fitting exterior doors, spiders in almost every corner of the home, one inch gaps between the flooring and baseboards, mouse traps lying all over the floors, paint peeling with mold(?) in my daughter's bedroom where the walls meet the ceiling (every wall), the kitchen ventilation fan not being connected to anything except the cabinet above it, a giant hole leading the the basement under the kitchen sink, soft floors in the bathroom with spots that feel as if you'll fall in and not to mention filth everywhere! I called the office to request someone come look at the property and was connected with Kesha who would best be served not working in anything to do with people. Ever.Maintenance was instead sent out after Kesha refused my request to come look at the property and Rob not only saw our concerns, but offered to go to the office to speak with Jamie (manager? Owner?) on our behalf. Instead, he was forced to deal with Kesha as Jamie was out of the office and Kesha could not care less about it all. My daughter and I drove there to attempt to speak with her and instead our concerns were belittled and she tried to place blame for all of the issues on the roommate who has been here for one month. She then stated my daughter should have known what the residence looked like based off the YouTube video. I had my daughter pull up the video in the office only to find out it's two years old and when I began to show Kesha the video doesn't match what she moved into, she again blamed the first roommate.I was initially hopeful this would be resolved after Jamie contacted me and agreed to move my daughter and her roommates to a new residence however, that was a foolish wish. We were told it would take “a couple of weeks” to find a new a new residence for their previous rental, but after a month of me paying rent on both the old, uninhabitable house and her new place, it seems At Home is more interested in money than their residents. Due to several concerns I have with the first property I feel I have no choice, but to contact the City of Springfield to request an inspection with an official with knowledge of building code violations. Please see the attached photos of this property and again, proceed with extreme caution because if Kesha is any indication, this company doesn't care about the residents, it cares more about its profit margins.

boyfriend and I toured one of their proprieties and noticed that there was a plumping issue which the agent said he would fix and we went to go tour again and confirm that the issue had been fixed and there was no response from the agent. After further investigation from your better business bureau complaints we are glad we didn't rent with this company.

This place is amazing. If you want to live in a run down apartment, has holes in the floor with Brillo pads stuck into them, and if you want an entire hole in your ceiling leading to a moldy ‘attic’, and if you would absolutely love to walk up the stairs every day to the stench of cat pee burning your nostrils, this place is just for you!

I'm sorry to say that all the recent post about this company are real. Nothing like it was 6 years ago. Argumentative from the start. I don't do real-estate so I don't know the laws. It takes 5 seconds to explain stuff to people. Do not waste your time. Do not fill out an application. Do not go in they will talk to you like your stupid. No help on resolving issues, accusing applying tenants of "hiding stuff" because the application wasn't filed out correctly instead of calling and asking for the information.READ THE OTHER COMMENTS ABOUT THIS COMPANY.NOT WHAT IT USED TO BEI really wish this was still the company I used 6 years ago.

At Home did not manage the property when I first signed my lease in January. Due to a very fast sell of my home, because of a rare cancer and needing to be close to the hospital, I needed to find somewhere quickly. There were many issues I addressed alone when I first moved~cleaning extremely muddy window sills, vacuuming, cleaning under cabinets, etc…all because this home was a complete remodel. It’s absolutely beautiful (although the outside could use some work now, but one step at a time!).At Home became the properly management company and I’ve had wonderful experiences. When a limb came down in a recent storm, due to needing a treatment the following day, an amazing crew came that afternoon to clean it up so I wasn’t blocked inside.Last week I noticed a double payment on rent. Yikes! It’s never easy to make transitions~in anything! I feel the company and all the representatives have been kind to help me. Also, they “walked” us through the new change very timely. Yes, I was upset due to the large rent. Yet, I also know that in this world, more kindness could make every situation much better. Call me Pollyanna, but after nearly 25 years in education and service industry, I can’t expect that MY problems are going to be fixed at my timing and pronto. Perhaps if we all had more patience and kindness issues can be resolved, at least, with courtesy and professionalism. I feel this team has done that. I’m blessed to have this home during this stage and journey. I’m very thankful for their response to home maintenance issues. Would I like my refund quicker? Absolutely. Can technology issues take time? Absolutely! The bottom line~I trust them. I have no doubt I’ll receive the refund. I’m thankful for a comfortable home and a good team taking care of things. I have no doubt all will be well. Thank you to the entire team for greeting me always with kindness.
