So I drove up to car-mart to get a car that I saw on there website I drove 2 and 1/2 hours I got there sorta late so we talked to a guy and he said he could not sell us a car because we were not in the 50 mile radius of Springfield but we could pick out a vehicle and get it shipped to a closer store to us we just had to pick one out but because it was so late we decided to stay they night in Springfield so we could look at the cars the next day. So we come in today and we had narrowed down to 3 cars when we went in to talk to them and get this whole buying a car thing rolling well first the guy who helped us the night before had someone else. Tell us that the 3 cars we were looking at were not for sale however two of the 3 cars had the price tag on the window, the lady that had to tell us that they weren't for sale decided to lie to us she said the 3 cars we had picked had just been delivered the night before so they weren't for sale. Which we would have believed however we were there that night when the cars were delivered needless to say the 3 cars we picked were not the ones or even close to the cars that were delivered. We tried to tell her that and she went completely quite and said she needed to talk to her general manager. She spent over 30 minutes talking to him just to tell us another bull faced lie. I will never return to this car-mart. Because if there going to lie about what cars are being delivered what else are they going to lie about the lady didn't even want to walk out to the cars to confirm which cars we were talking about. I could have delt with whatever but for her to lie to us about the load of cars that came in when we were there when the cars were delivered just topped it. There slogan is Integrity Respect Compassion and excellence. This lady showed no respect towards us at all and there was no compassion she acted like she didn't even care.

DO NOT BUY CAR from them . How this place even has 4.6 stars is beyond me because of the amount of people commenting with the exact same issue I’m about to post .We bought of suv 3 months ago . Test drove it all great . Drive it off the lot and get half way home and the check Evie e light comes on. My husband is a mechanic and he went to run the system and someone had cleared the system before us buying so we wouldn’t see this just for a sale but they denied this and acted like they didn’t know what what we here talking about .We have a warranty , great right ?! Not ! The “replace the engine” get the suv beach and it’s worse sounding and same issue . Now we dropped our car off September 22nd and it is now October 15th and it’s still in the shop ! Not to mention they told us it would be ready Friday and then we get all the way up there and it’s still in the shop . Then they say it would be ready Monday today and Ashley states she can’t get ahold of the shop but they will today . Here it is 4 and we have called 5 times and still no answers and Ashley has left for the day ! What is the pint of a dang warranty is their mechanics can’t fix the job . What is said is my husband can do 3 engines in a week in the almost 4 weeks we have been waiting on them to fix ours but because of the warranty we can’t do it ourselves ! They should just pay my husband to do the parts and labor at this point ! Atleast I know it’ll get done right !!They cheap broke down cars , didn’t even detail the inside before giving to us dirty and almost left all sale stickers on the car . Manager was hostile and rude to us and impatient upon sale . Ashley so the one who talked up the sale game and sold us on the broke down junk .And don’t even comment “owner “ and say u wanna talk and fix the issue cause so early the issues isn’t resolved if it had happened to the 3 other comments on the first page alone ! Fix your issue and quit screwing people over and a family of 7 who needed this vehicle !

This place is a joke! We went up and gave them 1k as a down payment. Got a 13 Chevy Equinox. They said “we just got it as a trade. The guy took very good care of it” that was a lie! The car went into limp mode after the test drive. We were told it’s a sensor we will fix it. So we left it there. 2 days later we get it back “all fixed!” That was a lie. It was put back in the shop 2 days. We get a call “um no idea what’s wrong we are getting a new motor will take 3 to 5 days. Here we are 7 days in and nothing! You can’t get phone calls back! I was going to also purchase a vehicle from them but after seeing my wife’s “new car” and their unprofessionalism. I’ll pass! They have her driving a car in limp mode until a motor comes in. You would think a CAR DEALERSHIP WOULD KNOW HOW BAD THAT IDEA IS!

When situations gets tuff you need family oriented people around. Esquire and his team members and whole staff are good people that understand life. Teresa Davis was a huge help when guiding me through buying a vehicle. She’s a wonderful car saleswoman and I would 100% recommend asking for her to help you through the process. Compared to other dealerships/salesmen in the area that constantly gave me the run-around, she was patient, kind, and understanding! I was able to leave the dealership with something way better than I had, all thanks to Teresa!

Highly recommend!! I spent days looking for buy here pay here and all had requests for co signers, extremely high down payments, cars double there value, etc. Car-Mart got me into a nice car, at a reasonable price, with no crazy down payments, affordable monthly payments, warranty, gap coverage, and no co signer. Maryanne was very friendly and attentive!

This place started off seeming pretty great but went downhill fast. You don't find a car that is priced what it's worth, they have you look at cars based on monthly payments. I put down over half of what this car was worth as a down payment and still ended up ridiculously upside down on the loan. I signed the dotted line though so I'm just going to take the hit for that. The fact that the car is a piece of junk though is really on them. Like how do you sell someone a car with a service plan, overcharge them by at least twelve grand AND not make sure that it runs the way it's supposed to? I won't put my kids in the car. It sits in the driveway most days. It's been in the shop for about 25, maybe 30 days altogether and it still doesn't run right. It now has warning lights for the airbag system and the tire pressure monitoring system. I've checked the air in all the tires, they are right. I'm hoping the airbags deploy if necessary but I doubt it. All this place cares about is their payments. They text the morning the payment is due and call that afternoon. I wish I would have went elsewhere. They knew I was a single dad of special needs kids and just needed a car ASAP. You are better off going somewhere else.

No prices available online. I called and requested a list of vehicles with their information for under $10,000 and was told all of their vehicles are “top tier” and none are priced under $26,000. If you look at their inventory online, there are several that even in perfect condition are valued less than 10,000 by KBB. I’m assuming they are crooks taking advantage of people or the sales associate just didn’t want to help.Edit after owner response: I have already reached out to your corporate regarding this and was simply told to direct my concerns to the dealer. There’s no assistance from either end.

Spouse purchased F150 - 06.07.2023 seemed to run ok by could tell there was some issues of it running properly. Before we left Marianne told us we would need to come back soon to get the spark plugs and coil packs changed.As my spouse drove to I44 the A/C went out and the truck was struggling. We was able to drive it home and then let it sit until we had our next day off to drive it back down to get fixed. We wasn’t going to drive it anymore since there was issues.06.14.2023 drove it back down to be fixed, dropped it off earlier to have spark plugs and coil packs replaced and A/C looked at. Warranty doesn’t cover the A/C but covers other things with the hvac system.Got the truck late afternoon 06.14.2023 seemed to run a tad better while on the lot, until it got up to temp and bam more issues of it dying/stalling at stop lights, A/C not working etc.We could not even make it to I44 in the running condition it was, so we turned back around and brought it back letting them know there’s something else wrong other than just spark plugs and coil packs.Ashley said they’ll put it in the shop to be looked at and get back with us. No one got back with us, so we called 06.16.2023 and was 1st told a spark plug blew up causing a head gasket to blow up but they don’t know what all else is wrong until they see the invoice.Ashley called back same day in the afternoon now saying they needed to make a 2nd key, waiting on a new computer module and so on.You’d think they make this matter a priority, keep us updated on everything and not us calling in for updates.06.26.2023 called at 430pm seeking updates and if truck is ready for pick up on 06.28.2023. Truck has been back on lot since last week. Last all we known it was waiting on computer module and Ashley didn’t know when it would be back on the lot.06.26.2023 Ashley was off the lot on lunch and was told she would call us back. Ashley called back at 500pm said she couldn’t find the file “too many vehicles coming and going” and that she would call us back in a moment. Again this vehicle should be a priority since we haven’t been able to drive it and enjoy it. Spouse calls back at 520pm, frustrated and was told Ashley was gone for the day but we just spoke with her 20mins ago. Asked for store manager and he’s gone for the day as well.This whole situation with the truck feels and sounds sketchy as if they know more about what’s wrong with it. Their own shop on site changed the spark plugs and coil packs.Yes we know it’s a used vehicle but if they knew that “supposedly the spark plugs and coil packs needed changed”, why wasn’t that and whatever else not fixed before having it up for purchase.?

Had such a really good experience at this location. The lady was so personable, extremely helpful, and got me a really good car, very quickly, under the circumstances. I appreciated it so very much. I definitely feel like I will have a very good working relationship with her, and at that place, buying my car. That matters alot when you buy a car. I trust them and would definitely reccomend.
