I'm an experienced Costco shopper. St Peters, MO, Roseville, CA, Lake Zurich, IL. This one is great! Get there early to get bargains or limited supply items. I have specific things i shop for. Meat, produce, lamb chops (always the best price around here) laundry detergent, toilet paper, and eye glasses, cloths, etc. I don't buy everything here but for us it's great, the quality is always the best and a good bargain!!

This is a newer Costco but so the facility is nice. I came here for my tires to get rotated which I bought from them. I had an appointment and shows up early. It still took well over the recommended time. Multiple other cars went through the shop before mine. It was frustrating and I will likely just rotate my self in the future.

Excellent selections in so many categories! From staple foods to fresh veggies, from furniture to electronics, and from the deli to the bakery...Costco is TOP NOTCH!Tip: shop Monday - Thursday and avoid the weekends completely when all of the "looky loos" are slowly roaming every single aisle.

Busy today but so many good things to be had. Don't use a cart...take a couple of bags and then you can get out without breaking the bank. ?

Several weeks ago my husband had his hearing checked at this location. He was told he needed to see a doctor before ordering. I remembered he had his hearing checked at Mayo our last visit, but he saw his PCP who referred him to an ENT. The cost would be$285 to have his hearing checked to be told he needed a hearing aid. So, we went back in today to purchase a hearing aid. The very not nice girl at the desk informed him he needed a medical release. She said the only way around it was to speak to her manager, whom she never called. I told him to leave and we would go to Sam’s. She replied, “there you go”. We were in the door at Sam’s on Sunshine in 10 minutes and getting a hearing test in 30 minutes. And guess what. They have a waiver you can sign to be able to purchase your hearing aid. Thank you Sam’s Club for being respectful and offering a pleasant experience. I have spent tons of money at Costco and never once been treated how we were today. Membership cancellation in progress. You need to restaff your hearing center with someone that is friendly at the counter.

If I could give the Springfield, MO store a 0, I would. My husband and I are new members. The front desk was nice and helpful. BUT immediately when we entered the store, the first worker was rude. We did our shopping. As we left, my husband tried making the oh so cranky door person named Mary smile. She gave him an awful look and proceeded to say it had been a long Saturday and she wasn't in the mood! She jerked our cart. She did not even look at one item. She grabbed the receipt from him, ran the highlighter down it and said you have a great day sir with nothing but hateful disrespect and attitude! We will not be back! Actually, the next time we are in town, we are getting our membership fee back! ]It's Sam's only for this family!

I go here for Instacart orders. I think I like it here better than Sam's. Simply because their food, the deli meat, prepared meals, etc, seems to be of better quality. And they don't mind getting you boxes for your items, Sam's not so much, you on your own there. ?

We ordered a Refrigerator on-line on a Tuesday it was delivered on Thursday. Not only was it delivered on the day they stated, the delivery men were friendly and considerate.

The days when I used to walk into Costco (Vallejo Ca. California) knowing that I was getting the best price on goods without even looking at the prices are over. We live in northwest Arkansas now. When we heard a Costco was opening near us (85 miles away), we were thrilled. I knew Costco like the back of my hand. I shopped at Costco in California 3 times a week. Never looked at price tags because I knew deep down inside I was getting the best price and the largest package. We went to opening day in Springfield. As we toured the store we started noticing the packaging of products was a lot smaller, but the prices were the same or more as we remembered in California. The laundry detergent was a lot smaller but priced higher. The Dollar store is where I buy Landrey detergent now. They didn't carry Pedigree bags of dog food. I always bought the 50-pound bag in the ad @ $24.99. The only thing they carry now is Kirkland. A 40-pound bag with similar ingredients as pedigree is $36.00. I can go on but Costco knows all about this. I started talking to customers about package size but quickly realized people there had never been to a Costco. The customers had no idea there had been package size reductions. Did Costco know they would get all new members and take advantage of that and reduce the size of these items? People were clueless. I know they were all new members because the membership line was packed the whole time we were there. On a good note, the optical department had excellent employees. They told me they had weeks of training prior to the store opening and it showed. The hearing aid department had a fantastic employee. Unfortunately, he was gone the second time I shopped there and the employee tall blond guy was an egotistical moron. I already did a review on him. I am very disappointedwith this warehouse. It now takes me twice as long to shop there because I have to look at prices. I could have understood a price increase, but a price increase and the container size reduced by a 1/3 is ridiculous. I guess they didn't expect to get a seasoned Costco shopper In Springfield MO Grand opening. I will still shop there but I know the prices and I will not buy there what I can get cheaper elsewhere. Buyers beware.

I've always liked Costco, but when my wife came in to renew our membership today, the guy that waited on her was a complete jerk. We decided to change to a regular membership and as he shamed her and told her no one had EVER done that before he made her feel like she had to. He threatened to cancel our Costco credit card because we had to have an upper tier membership to have it which is bull (and he didn't) but I happily cancelled it afterward. We don't come in to a store to be hard sold, shamed or bullied by employees. Luckily we are still members at a competing club. I was on the phone most of the time he was arguing with her, but if I would have been there we wouldn't be members. We probably won't be back anyway, and apparently since we are just regular members we are trash.

I like Costco! Always heard about it but now I've experienced it for the second time in two months. Love the selection and the prices (in the samples along the way aren't too bad either lol)...

I like Costco, but you have to watch carefully. Some of their "deals" aren't really cheaper than anywhere else. And I wish the store itself had better signage for the aisles. Sometimes it's hard to locate something, but whenever I ask an employee for help, they jump right to it! I like that!

Rarely do I have a bad experience at Costco. The staff is friendly. Came in for just a couple items and got gas. I buy specific items when I come. My son loves the individual cottage cheese cups but they often don't have them. Otherwise a good visit today.

I'm not happy with my experience yesterday Sunday July 16th. we spend $350 and one middle aged lady helping to cashier tries to tell us they had no boxes. There were plenty of boxes all over the place under all the registers. She was so rude and lazy to tell me they had none and not even turn around to grab some less than 3 feet from her. she placed all my small items bunched up in the cart and I drive a truck. I went and grabbed two boxes behind her myself and she got an attitude. excuse me lady! $350 and thats not enough for two free boxes? I'm not going back here for a while. employees should be helpful not the opposite! I've also started to actually research some of the items we're buying and im surprised than many items on our list were not at a discount. such as toothpaste.. and advil. those items are in bulk but they aren't any cheaper than priced individually. I'm having to pay much more attention as inflation has caused many items here to be priced just lile any retail store with no savings at all.
