GAVE MY 7-MONTH-OLD PILLS TO SWALLOW!!!
This happened today. We had been in Urgent Care twice throughout night and morning for his strep throat. A nausea med was ordered for him. It was one I've used in the past so I recognized something was wrong about it when my hub brought home the prescription. I looked at it and tried to figure it out. I called the pharmacy and could only reach an AI prompt system that was extremely unhelpful. I was then told to leave a message by the recording and that they usually return calls in 1 hour.
Meanwhile, my son is hungry and he wants to eat!!! We wound up feeding him and by the time he got the right meds, he spat up a lot of it--but back to what happened after we left a message with CVS:
We called the urgent care and found out it was the WRONG PRESCRIPTION FORM. It was pills to SWALLOW that were given to him!!!! The nurse asked if we wanted to call it again into the same CVS and I said no!! I would not go back there at all.
2 HOURS LATER FROM THE POINT WE LEFT A MESSAGE, CVS returned call. At the time, we were on the phone to Urgent Care so they left a message. CVS claimed Urgent Care had made the mistake with the wrong prescription, which is not what the Urgent Care said. Even if that is true, that the wrong script was sent in??? CVS should have checked his birthdate!!!! HE IS 7 MONTHS OLD! A 7 MONTH OLD BABY CANNOT SWALLOW PILLS!!!
This delayed my son receiving the meds he desperately needed in order to take the antibiotic liquid that was causing him to throw up...in order to treat his strep throat!!!!
This is a serious business. Pharmacies are one of the most important places to have a gap-stop system!!! What if he had choked?! At the very best the med would have made him violently puke I'm sure because it was meant to be swallowed and would have had a horribly bitter taste!!!! The pharmacy didn't take any responsibility for this mistake, but this is the whole point of knowing BIRTHDATES!!!!!
I really hope this issue is resolved so that other people aren't placed at risk!!! We can all make mistakes, I know. We are all human. It's very important to learn from our mistakes and to try our best when the stakes are extremely high not to make future ones.

Pharmacy service is okay. Employees are friendly and helpful.
Online CVS app is useless.
I’ve been filling prescriptions at this particular store for a year. My online account shows nothing - no prescriptions at all. I’m connected to the “tech support” number and there is a 30 minute wait on hold. Really??
Very disappointing.

Can't reach pharmacy by phone. Wants you to leave voice-mail during business hours

Been coming here about a year now. Always something with this place. Start with awful customer service. Pharmacist is always rude. Get Notifications saying things are ready when they aren't. Half the time I'm calling to get the prescription filled.

I would not recommend applying to work here. My interview, which was scheduled in advance, was cancelled 1.5 hours before it was set to be conducted.

Pharmacist was completely unprofessional and an all out jerk, it was almost like he was going out of his way to be unhelpful

The drive thru lane at this particular pharmacy is the slowest I've ever experienced. Something needs to be done.

Absolute WORST customer service. Trying to print out cards for a birthday. I wanted to use a code from the website. Didn’t say “online only”. Also wanted to use a “coupon” that was really a refund for the last photo book I bought there that they didn’t do correctly. “Coupon” was expired but I figured after I explained what happened, they’d honor it. Nope. And wouldn’t give me the code either. Going to cancel CVS membership and will stop going. So frustrating.

The NP working in this clinic has poor customer service and had an attitude because i would not do as she wanted. She cared less about me as a patient and my symptoms of a sinus infection with bright green thick snit!! She says thats not a sign of infection!! Hmm last i knew thats what that means. Unprofessional because i declined a COVID test!! NOT all Symptoms are COVID!!

i don’t know why the reviews are so harsh(or maybe the workers were fired then since it has been some time), but the people who work here are very nice! i came in there for the minute clinic and the two females i’ve met (yesterday and today) are very friendly! very nice experience!

If you have an injectable prescription, be prepared for them to not supply any syringes or needles to apply a prescription drug. Even if they state it - it won't be filled, and forget asking to buy any without a prescription for a specific needle - even with a verified history of the drug, and open prescription for it with them - they won't supply any needles or syringes. How is someone supposed to actually take their prescription? CVS doesn't care - I was literally told to go to another store. They wouldn't fill, and neither did the other store. This renders my prescription useless, yet just a month ago they were willing. Why do I have to buy syringes separately? CVS broke the prescription in their system and refuse to update it to the correct thing, and don't respond to renewed prescriptions from my doctor.CVS - literally less than useless if one is on injectable medicines.

Every time I go in, this young man named Nick is EXTRAORDINARY. He is always to cheerful when he speaks to me and enthusiastic. He is able to multitask around the store while also assisting, he knows his stuff!

My prescription is filled and ready to be picked up. It was filled before it expired. But because it expired 2 days ago I can’t have it. It’s filled. Give it to me. Absolutely the last time I ever use CVS for anything. I’m told this is their new policy. Awful. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I started to list the problems I've encountered here, but it would be easier to just say TREVOR. I moved all of our scripts to a different CVS in town and vented a little bit to the other store about him - guess what, I'm not the only customer who has told them they left because of his conduct.
