My wife and I just got our flu shots. I had made appointments at the wrong CVS, but the pharmacist and assistant at this CVS at the Target on Primrose were exceptionally accommodating. Very pleasant and informative. Great experience. Thanks Wendy and Jennifer.

In addition to their non convenient remodeling for the neighbors nearby & seeming to get people write 5 star reviews to “overshadow” my other review on it.The pharmacy will only refund your money (ours was cash) with a target gift card because they are a different entity called CVS. What the heck is that about?

Let's just say..we have dealt with multiple pharmacies through the years. CVS Target in Springfield, MO has been the worst to use. The latest scenario: they filed the wrong insurance and tell the customer to fix it.

I switched over to CVS at Target when I noticed how friendly their staff was when I took my father there for his meds. Although it wasn't as convenient for me it was a no brainer. I was totally fed up with some of the staff at my CVS location and had enough of the rudeness and lack of caring. It was night and day difference on the customer service as well as their willingness to fill my prescriptions in a very timely manner. They filled one of my prescriptions while I was doing a little shopping once, told me to give them ten minutes and they'd have it filled. By far, the nicest pharmacy staff I've ever dealt with.

I never have to wait more than 15 minutes for my prescription and everyone there is so nice. I was worried when they switched to cvs everything would change. As when I go to an actual cvs in the area I have had to wait hours for my prescription. I do miss the red easy open bottles target pharmacy used to use and hope cvs switches to those bottles.

I am giving them the benefit of doubt. We were from another state and our Doctor tried numerous times to send 6 months worth of prescriptions to this pharmacy. It seems as if CVS's system would only let us refill 1X instead of the 6X refills the doctor requested although one of the medicines manage to slip in 3X refills. It took 3 to 4 calls to the pharmacy and just as many to the Doctor for this to happen. I finally switched everything over to Walgreens (I figure our Doctors time is valuable and shouldn't be wasted on this) then I get a text from CVS to pick up a prescription they filled. Even though I shouldn't have had a prescription filled after requesting everything go to Walgreens I decided I might as well pick that one up from CVS since they had it filled. Went to pick it up and they looked around for 5 minutes and couldn't find it anywhere. They asked me to stick around so they could redo it, I politely declined and went to Walgreens for it. I left the part out that Walgreens had to call this pharmacy 4X for them to send the prescriptions to them! I think it is scary this place is in charge of filling peoples prescriptions....I dislike making negative comments on reviews but it being a pharmacy I think people should be warned....
