“Dr. Ruth Ann Wood-Humiston, the CEO - Funeral Director, met with us on Christmas Eve morning after our loved one passed earlier that day. She was gracious, caring, and compassionate. She worked with one out of town family member using Google Teams so they could participate in the planning of our service. She kept us up-to-date by email. She was able to make a change in the obituary after we realized we had made a mistake. She made all of our family feel like they were heard. She treated our guests with graciousness. Dr. Ruth Ann Wood-Humiston and her staff made this an easy transition for our family. When you walk in the door you feel that they care about you and your comfort. They cared for us from the time they picked up our loved one, through the planning stages, during the service, and as we traveled to and back from the cemetery. Her choice of vendors for flowers, memorial books, medallions, thank you notes, and more are of the highest quality. Our availability to add a livestream webcast to our package allowed family and friends across the USA to participate from afar. Everyone felt grateful for being able to attend online. I would highly recommend using Walnut Lawn Funeral Home.”
“Springfield Mortuary Services made a very difficult day so much easier on our family. It only took a quick call and they pick my fathers remains up from the hospital, dressed him and make him looks so at peace. Thankful for the last views of my father to be such peaceful ones thanks to their hard work. Prices were very affordable. They also filled my urns for me after the fact and answered every question I had. I hope to not need them anytime soon but if I do I will be returning here.”
“Mr. Vernie Fountain is a master instructor that loves his area of expertise. I enjoyed his seminars. I did two of his seminars the 3d and the 5d. These two seminars have techniques that build on each other. It was impressive to watch him work. He is extremely patient in how he teaches and answers students questions. He is also very hospitable in that he makes his training facility accommodating with a microwave, coffee, and a fridge to store food items in for your time at his academy. He is a complete professional who exemplifies the best the funeral industry has to offer. Mr. Fountain, I am very grateful for your wisdom and the desire to teach the techniques you have acquired throughout your time in your profession. I highly recommend Mr. Vernie Fountain's courses if you want to take your skill level to a higher stage. I also am thankful for the classmates I met while in class. We keep in touch and we even have a group text. FAB 5 for life!! Great experience overall!!”
