Customer service is terrible. You will always be on long holds. Almost every week there are system issues, online payments don't go through and even if there's money in your account the card declines. The app never works, the website has a 50/50 success rate. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS BANK, unless you enjoy your credit being trashed and constantly being stressed.

Really poor customer service. Called several times during the last 60 days, on hold for 15-20 minutes, then hang up. Recommend you find someone who is not so cheap to hire enough workers - obviously this bank is not one of them....Find another bank.

Great Southern deactivated my debt card without a fraud alert or phone call to notify me. Then, when I needed a new debt card, their tellers were unable to be of service same day.

Stopped by to see if I could get something notarized. Not one customer there. They asked if I was a customer. I said no. They said they couldn’t notarize anything for me. Let’s see... no one there doing anything, and you can’t help a potential new customer? That is poor business and lazy employees. I wouldn’t open an account there now for any reason. AND, I will go out of my way to tell people my story. I guess this is how we are going to be in this world now... I remember when people were polite.

Great Southern Bank has gone above and beyond multiple times in order to keep this customer. I'm not a business owner or anything like that so they really don't "need" my business. They treat me honestly, fairly, reasonable and professional, and I appreciate them. I've dealt with branches from Branson to Stockton, I even banked through them while living out of state for years. They have always treated me and my family very well through anything and everything we've ran into. Thank you, Great Southern!

horrible bank and terrible people at the ava branch. collen their regional boss is just evil shut my account down no reason ever given. higher ups did nothing to help. they wont even help when i call them. because of their crap i not had my account shut down and literally did not get a pay check because of it. on top did all this while was fighting covid outbreak at work hope you are proud of doing this to people. been talking very badly for a long time. so glad i never have to go back there. just very rude amd disgusting people work here.

Seriously some of the best customer service in the world. From Leila in south city, to Dinah in clayton, to Aaron at Euclid I've always been given above and beyond customer service. They get 100 gold stars from me. They've worked tirelessly to help me with any thing I've needed. Love them all.
