This bank is a group of thevies. They don't care about you, just your money. They are bad at making their own investments so they rely on tricks like letting charges go through when you have turned off your debit card. They do this so they can charge you over and over. Save your money and bank anywhere else, these crooks will rob you

Slow direct deposit. Text banking won't even reply for balance check. The updated app is still terrible. Everything about this bank is prehistoric. Sloppy, unprofessional, inexperienced amateurs, or just plain terrible management. Can't wait to get a new bank. If I knew where to bank instead I would have been gone. Covid time I needed a bank that wasn't online based only.. They were the only ones I could sign up online since everything was closed. Last resort. Only bank worse is Varo. We started a business this year and I would be an idiot to open our business account with them. Don't use. Maybe in 1970 this bank would be somewhat tolerable. I wonder if they wl close my account for this. lol

Really poor customer service. Called several times during the last 60 days, on hold for 15-20 minutes, then hang up. Recommend you find someone who is not so cheap to hire enough workers - obviously this bank is not one of them....Find another bank.

I moved to the area recently and decided to join the bank. I joined great Southern bank because I noticed they had a lot of branches in the area. However what I didn't realize was that this bank is a complete and utter joke. They were happy to set me up with the online service so that I can use online banking and their mobile app. And what they failed to mention was that the online banking doesn't actually work and that the mobile app is impossible to set up. I have literally been trying for four weeks straight to get the online banking set up or mobile app set up but to no avail. The worst part of all is that when I went into the bank branch and asked for help they simply told me they can't help me and that I would need to use a library computer because somehow that would make all the difference in the world. It appears to me that this bank doesn't care in the least bit about its customers so I'm pulling out my $140,000 a year income and going elsewhere. To think I almost asked them about a home loan. Glad I didn't!
