I banked here for 4 years. Starting out, it was great. As time went by the attitude I began to receive was no longer great. Instead of feeling like they were on my side I began to wonder whose side they were on. Example: I forgot my password and I had over-drawn my account so called the bank for help. Was told that only the lady assigned to me, Cassie, could assist me with my problem but she wasn't in and would call me the very next day. So now, my account is negative and I can't even access my account to transfer money into it so that I won't get anymore $33 overdraft fees. The next day, I receive no call from Cassie. I call the next day and ask for her. Was told again that she stepped out and would call me back. No call again. Next day I drove to the bank and asked for her in person. I had just missed her and was promised she would call me back. Did she? Nope. The whole time this is going on I have multiple overdraft charges accumulating. I call again the next day and finally get her. I explained the situation and instead of an apology, was treated as if it was all my fault and that she was doing me a favor by waiving 3 overdraft charges. I've had overdraft charges just from transferring cash from one account to another, even though it said I had enough $ before I did so. The last straw was my account was overdrawn again, even though it had said I had enough money before I spent any of it. Checked my balance the next day and the order that the transaction was deposited was not the actual time. They change the order of things to work in their favor. So now I am overdrawn again and tried to catch up but automatic payments keep triggering overdraft charges faster than I can pay them. AAA kept trying to take their payment from me but kept getting denied. They tried 5 times in a day, which triggered my overdraft charges of 33 bucks, each time they attempted. I had a total of $950 in overdraft fees and absolutely no help from Guarantee bank at all. How is anyone supposed to pay that back? If I am overdrawing that means I am out of money. How are all of those over draft charges supposed to help me get squared away again? A little empathy was all I was looking for but instead all overdraft charges were to remain. They refused to help me with even one charge. 5 charges of $33 each for an auto transaction that they didn't even cover for me! I finally had enough and went and closed all my accounts. Not one word was mentioned about trying to get me to stay a customer with them. This decision was definitely the right one. Beware out there.

They're checking account as a maintenance fee of a $7 a month and a $3 service fee. Springfield First Community Bank should have never sold to them.

Guaranty bank is awesome. The employees are so kind. I have no desire to bank elsewhere.

I’ve banked with this place for a few years now. This bank routinely takes my money and the app is so far behind that it will switch around your purchases so it will constantly try to put you into the negative. I do not recommend this bank to anyone. I’m switching to Chime and this bank ruined local banking for me.

Went in at 11:45 pm on Saturday and they wouldn’t cash the check I had. You are a bank, you have one job. They made some excuses that were irrelevant as I cash checks here often from an employer. Just some kids who don’t care about anything other than getting off work on Saturday. Pretty annoying experience.

I was in the bank in a few weeks ago to open a trust account. As I was opening it I told Kassie that I didn’t want an interest bearing account and also didn’t want to pay a service charge, because I was going to start writing checks to the beneficiaries, she assured me she would take care of all that…I looked at the account on line last week (after being opened for about 5 weeks) and immediately went to the bank to take care of the situation with the service charge fee…the very nice young man I talked to about it said it had to do with having the statements mailed to me, so he helped me get my statements online and told me he would have Kassie waive the $3 fee. I kept an eye on the bank account and saw that the account was still being charged a $3 service charge. I then sent an email to Kassie to inquire and her response was that “going forward” there would not be a service charge, but the $3 service charge remains, it has not been waived. I’m very disappointed in Guaranty Bank, not over $3, but miss representing themselves.

I have banked with them for years now and I love how helpful and friendly they are. They always have smiles on their faces and are polite and courteous. I love all the people who work at the west battlefield location and Jesse is especially helpful. I would recommend Guaranty Bank to anyone !!!! Thanks

Since Jeremy left this location is very unprofessional. If you check around for savings rates you will find much better options. They don't match rates of competitors like most other banks or credit unions do. Very sad.

Stopped in today to get a cashiers check. Was attempting to ask the new guy in Jeremys old desk. The guy signed he was on a call. At that same moment the rude blonde girl yelled across the bank. HE’S IN A-MEETING. I left and went to the bank on national. And also there charging 10% to count my change. My wife and I will probably change banks in the near future. Jeremy and the crew that was there was always helpful and would never yell across the bank!!!

This bank has always treated us great. We have 3 accounts here and always enjoy doing business with them. Jeremy has gone above and beyond customer service to make sure our visits are well handled.

I never post reviews but I have been to this location two times and have gotten a very rude blonde girl as my teller both times. She has an extremely unpleasant attitude and cut me off before I could finish talking. Not impressed with the standard of customer service here.

Don’t plan on working here unless if you plan on getting fired out of nowhere. The manager, Jeremy, informs his employees on false information when they are unsure about an action that could potentially get them fired. Do not work for him. My partner worked for them for less than 6 months, resulting in him getting fired for a situation that he had no control over and having to spend the next 2 months unemployed and unable to receive unemployment checks. Guaranty bank is an unreliable workplace and I’m absolutely disgusted with the situation they put me and my partner through with the abrupt elimination that he had received. If I could rate guaranty bank with 0/5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Absolutely terrible place.

The worst bank I have ever experienced! I have been disappointed by them at every turn. They certainly don't put customers first. Consistently uncaring and unfriendly during each visit.
