For business owners, this bank is a TERRIBLE option. They charge ridiculous fees, horrible interest rates, have terribly incompetent staff when it comes to setting up new accounts…we were being charged $50/mo in fees with literally zero service offered. They would turn off our card anytime we used it outside Springfield, expecting us to inform them prior to of any travel plans. Sorry, I’m not calling you every week with my travel itinerary. We tried for 5 years to work through things with them, even bringing up issues to the bank president, which were ignored. I hope people read these reviews before opening accounts, our new bank (Old Missouri) has 5 star reviews and has much better technology and customized service for our business needs.

Frequently do not have the equipment working if you need a debit card. The Loan officer I worked with was clueless and after being a 16 year customer it took 4 days and way to much effort to obtain a loan when your credit score is excellent, your putting in a significant amount of your own money the vehicle was worth more than you were paying and your income easily supported the loan. To say the least I was insulted and devalued and never got a real apology

The worse bank I have ever dealt with if you have fraud in there your account they hold it for 3+ weeks. Also takes forever for you to get your transfer.

We recently switched to Guaranty after a terrible experience with another local bank. It has been the absolute best customer service, hands down. I can walk in and out of a branch in less than 5 minutes (we bank at the Farmer's Park location) and I feel like they all know my name. Even phone calls are pleasant. I've never waited more than a minute or two on hold. I highly recommend them!

Exceptionally infuriated with the incompetent troglodytes at this establishment. Went to call a check for $350, and checked my account and few hours later only to see that $350 was missing from my account. I called and waited an unacceptable 25 minutes. After the 25 minutes, I was informed that they "entered it the wrong way". Seriously? I work two minimum wage jobs and go to school just to get by, and this is the excuse that I get? $350 is a lot of money. If I did anything that ignorant at my place of employment, I would be fired on the spot. I have NEVER had a positive experience with Guaranty, and I am looking for a new bank ASAP. I inform every person that I come into contact with to never every bank here. I wish I could give zero stars.
