Harter House Supermarket is recommended as the best place to stop for groceries. It is known for wonderful meats and produce, beating out larger stores. The market provides unique items and great, incredible customer service, with outstanding service from start to finish. It feels like stepping back into the 90’s in the best way, with a very clean, very old town feeling. The aisles are wider and it is always fully staffed. The frozen section is amazing and the bagging is phenomenal. Prices are a little higher, but they aim to please. Some note the bakery was closed during regular hours.
This is the best place to buy meat, chicken and seafood. Don't forget about the produce it is actually good!! And the prices are so comparable! Love this store!
