I had a great experience at this Hertz location. I misunderstood the credit card/ATM card policy and was almost stuck without a rental car but Peggy and the other lady that worked there went way out of their way to help me. So THANKFUL for these 2 ladies and their GREAT customer support they gave me. Thank You!

Walked in the front door to pick up a reservation, was told they needed ID and payment card, was told I wasn’t able to pick up the car because I didn’t have a major credit card they wanted. I was using a credit card, just not one they wanted. When I asked why I couldn’t pay, I was told to have a nice day and asked to leave. Rude people at a non helpful branch. 10/10 recommend Enterprise or Avis before them.

Got us a vehicle the same day we reserved it. They were one of the cheapest rental places in town and they were very friendly and easy to work with

Had to get a rental while my car was in the shop. They were very nice and the car was in prime condition. As they are near my home it made it very easy. I do think they need some kind of signage at the street as it can be a bit hard to find.

Don't even waste your time using this location OR hertz. Hertz screwed us over majorly this morning which caused an almost 2 hour delay in us getting on the road for a FLIGHT. Yeah, late is an understatement. Your best bet would be to go to
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 3750 S Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO 65807
They got us taken care of even with having no availability! ENTERPRISE should be your first and ONLY choice at this point.....lesson learned! BTW, enterprise was MUCH cheaper (no discount) and hertz was using our AAA discount....go figure! Better customer service, quality and, care! At this rate, hertz is driving itself into the ground!

I wish I could read people's reviews before renting a car from them. I give one star to be able to post. I am an Uber driver, I rented a car from them, the car is not even good for driving, I return the to them, I have charge and they report a damage that cost $520. They lied that the front child was broken but they gave it to me like that. The customer service was very bad because they treated me like enemies that they had been waiting for. I feel in their eyes that they are racists. I believe me and my family including my closest will not rent a car from Hertz anymore.

I rented a car from Hertz, which was fine. My repair took longer than it was supposed to which was OK. They said everything was paid for so I called back to Hertz to make sure my balance was zero and now they’re taking $157 out of my account every other day and when you call their number, you can’t talk to a live human being. I highly highly recommend you do not do business with them because if you have an issue, you’ll never talk to a live person ever
