Call to get a cat neutered and they still haven't returned the call and they say they're booked until April.

Worst experience ever, the head lady was extremely disrespectful and should probably retire, sounds like she's tired of her job, she is a prime example of what's wrong with this country

friendly, efficient, clean animal care facility. Found my perfect young cat that I adopted for a very reasonable price! Along with a free bag of food

Clean and friendly atmosphere very informative about their animals and how to care for them. Have everything you need in one place pretty much.

Recently adopted a cat from them. She was a stray and was received in poor, but improving health. Less than 48 hours after adoption I notice she has an ear problem, a severe ear mite infection, as well as an ear infection. The severity of the infections indicated they had been there since before she was even taken into the Humane Society’s care. I looked at her medical records and her ears were marked as in good condition. I called and asked if I could possibly bring her into the cooper clinic asap for treatment, as I wasn’t prepared for immediately having multiple costly vet bills sprung at me, and this was clearly something they had missed/failed to treat. I was told that on her medical records, her ears were marked as good so there was nothing they could do besides get me in for their next available appointment… which I was told would be “about a month out”. This seems to be a common problem here. If you plan to adopt from them, please save yourself the time and money and just take a good hard look at the animal. Make sure it’s in good health before adopting. You’re completely on your own the second it’s out of their hands.

Went in to just look at the cats thinking we would likely get a kitten in the future, ended up leaving with the most perfect 3yr old cat. The volunteers and workers were very helpful and asked appropriate questions to lead you to the cat they felt would be best for your home. I was a little skeptical but after playing with Ellie (formally Carmen) we learned just how silly she was and had to have her. She adapted quick to our noisy chaotic home life and even acts like our dogs ?

I go to places multiple time before leaving a review. I must say the staff are always welcoming, and ecstatic to help me with any issues I’m facing. I’m so thankful for the job that all of the employees do, it’s not easy and they are still so nice! If you’re looking for a fur baby, give this humane society a chance to find the perfect fit for your mix!
