Seeing so many kids in such a small room cry with no help or assistance made me want to cry with them :,(

My child has been going to La Petite since she was three months old (she is almost five now) and I couldn't imagine sending her anywhere else. All of the teachers and front office staff are beyond amazing, loving and care for my daughter like she was their own.I highly recommend La Petite to any parent that wants their child to have a positive and loving experience in a trusting and positive environment.

Very happy sending both of our children (3 and 2) there. Caring and welcoming staff and we have seen a significant development in our kids language, empathy, and social-emotional intelligence.Been at La Petite for over 2 years and have experienced no issues worth noting. Have developed parental friendships ourselves and have also not been made aware of any concerns.

If I could rate this place zero I would, our son was just abused today an we got it all on video an got the police involved. Want a place that abuses children? Want a place that can’t hire teachers in the preschool room to handle kids being kids? Want a school that doesn’t care for the child? Well look no further! Our son has special needs an in that was misunderstood and abused because a teacher can’t handle it anymore.

My 3 year old boy was well taken care of by the friendly staff of La Petite. While we no longer attend this daycare, I would highly recommend it to any parent searching for a safe, fun environment for their child.

Used to be my favorite place for childcare, now I see how misplaced my love for them was.

We LOVE La Petite Academy! Both our kids have attended for the last year-they have been in early preschool, preschool, and pre-K classrooms. The teachers are so responsive to questions and comments, and Ms. Carrie (the school’s Director) and Ms.Caroline (the Assistant Director) are always reachable by phone, email, or through the Brightwheel app. I love how many photos the teachers send me through the app, and I love the social, emotional, and practical education that the kids are getting. Best decision we’ve made!

We absolutely love La Petite! Our daughter has learned so much and feel so welcomed. We wouldn’t have it any way. The director and staff truly cares!

There is no price on a young child's development. The staff at La Petite do way more than just babysit. They teach, care, and encourage growth with all of their young enrollees. The educators and staff at La Petite are terrific.I've trusted my children with Carrie, Deborah, Christy, Caroline, Cindy and the rest of the incredible people at this facility for about 5 years. The past director, Lisa, was wonderful and I can't speak highly enough of Carrie Dickerson, the current director. She was a teacher for my oldest and has now moved into the directors seat. Under her oversight I've been witness to a growth and expansion of care, curriculum and services offered that I see having a profoundly positive effect on my currently enrolled child's behavior, intellectual growth and overall well-being.I highly recommend and suggest that if you are considering a place for your child, that you take the time to call, drop-in or schedule a tour and talk with Carrie and Caroline. They are tremendous people who care deeply about the kids they teach and take care of daily.

Both of my girls have attended La Petite since August when we relocated to Springfield. We couldn't be happier with them! The facility is always clean and the teachers are always friendly and professional. There has been little to no staff turnover and my girls both adore the teachers there. Ms. Lisa is the center director and I cannot say enough nice things about her or her leadership of the facility. The first thing my three year old does when she heads in is give Ms. Lisa a hug and it's the last thing she does before leaving at night. I know my kids are in a safe and secure environment and are having their emotional, educational and social needs met at La Petite. If you're looking for a childcare where you can have peace of mind, you won't go wrong with La Petite.

If I could give a separate score for the front office people vs the actual teachers, I would! The teachers were fantastic and lovely gals, who we loved working with and were great to our child. The front office gals wanted to treat us like something they found on the bottom of their shoe. When there was confusion over an issue with them, they just wanted to belittle, instead of working with us; even though we'd paid all tuition weeks ahead of time. They just wanted to keep reiterating that they had a waiting list, basically letting us know that we meant nothing to them. Just for having to deal with those two awful people (Lisa and Connie), I'd highly recommend you take your child somewhere else!

I'm a first time mom and my son started here last April. I was really nervous about putting my son in daycare--it's not so much that I was scared the staff would abuse him, I just worried that since they had multiple kids to look after my son wouldn't get as much attention and love as I could give him. I never said a word about the way I felt but Lisa, the director, completely understood anyway. One of the first things she said was "I understand if you're worried--no one will ever love your kid as much as you do but he'll be fine here and if you need or want to you're more than welcome to call and check up on him." It blew me away. The first day went off without a hitch and my son had a great time. After the first week, though, my son began to realize this was going to be a regular thing and began to cry at drop offs. The staff was more than happy to call me ten minutes later to let me know my son had stopped crying and was happily playing. Eventually we all discovered my son was just putting on an act for me because he cheered right up after I left. This place has been wonderful and my son has learned so much! I get daily written reports on what he did at school (and that's what it is, really. Each class has a teacher or two and they do fun yet educational activities. And NO tv--YES!!!) and the staff is so friendly and gentle with the kids. My son has made so many friends and they're always happy to see him when he comes in. My son has learned how to count, he can sing his ABCs, he learned how to sit quietly at a kid's table, and even puts his own toys away without being told. This school does wonders for little kids. I didn't think a toddler could do so much at such a young age but this school has really taught him a lot. I highly recommend La Petite to any parent needing childcare.

I appreciate Caroline and Lisa for the patient they had with me of delaying. I wasn't to sure if I get the job or not and I'm new here in town. Once I got hired at the job they took my 16 month son in the next day. I didn't know where to go or what to do exactly. My son been to daycare back where we were from San Diego , California the place was called Kindercare it was a wonderful place and the teachers was awesome! La Petite Academy remind me of Kindercare. I like the ladies and they been understanding. I do see that there is a lot of kids at la petite. So they are busy. The price might be high $226 a week. The price might be different for others but that was my price for my 26 month son. But it's close to my work and very convenient if anything happen to my 16 month son I'm there in 10 min. They also do a good job on calling me if my son is sick. So I give a 5 star on that. One thing I would like to see is more pictures of my son doing activities and have a program where they can send me video and pictures like how Kindercare do theirs. Overall I think la petite is doing it best. But like every parent I know that fear "what if..."

I highly recommend this daycare. I had doubts as a first time parent bringing my daughter to a daycare but the staff is very friendly and Lisa always worked with my family's hectic schedule.

The director, Lisa, and her staff are absolutely wonderful. It is very clear that she and her staff are dedicated to the kids and are love what they do. My son comes running to me with a smile on his face every day I pick him up with stories to tell about his day. He never did that at his previous preschool. This academy is worth every investment.
