My wife went to get a special hat made, with embroidery, to commemorate my service. She bought and paid for the hat and embroidery in advance. Was told that the embroidery machine was down and the hat would be done in a few days. We were told we would receive a call when complete, it has now been 4 weeks, no calls have come in. I called today, was told "there are no hats in the embroidery to be done". I was then told I had to speak with the manager, was told after I asked, the manager would be out for a week. So that will make almost 5 weeks waiting on a hat that has already been paid for.Never go to this lids, see all newer reviews.Zero stars if possible would be best.

This Lids location missed out on about $500 that I was prepared to spend on hats today. When I arrived at 2:30 this afternoon, the gate was down, and there was a small sticky note that said, "Out to lunch. Back in 30 minutes. " I have no idea how long the sign had been posted at that point. I checked back at 3:00, 3:30 and 3:45. The same sign was there each time, so the store was closed for a MINIMUM of an hour and 45 minutes. At this point, I took my money elsewhere as I will do in the future.

Went back to store after about 6 months due to being told I couldn't have a american flag put on a hat. Which I have had them due before, many of times. Finally got a yes and was told be the next day due to machine being down. Wasn't a problem, but the problem has been going to other side of town every day and being told it's not done yet. Finally after a week I got one done but the letters weren't even one a double stitch. The second hat which was supposed to be one a design I gave them that I paid 25 for ,the messed up and was told they redo and I could pick up next morning. When arrived in the afternoon, was told was just starting on it. I called 2 hours later and got no answer from them. I've never had such a worse experience in any store before. Especially with 3 different employees that work there. I'm sorry candy only go so far. Out almost 100 dollars with hat and time and gasNever buying from this location again.

Literally the most HORRIBLE experience my fiancee and I have EVER had in a retail store at first we paid for a hat to be customized and came back in the hour in which she said it would be ready. We came back and the "machine was down" so then it was gonna be tomorrow, and tomorrow came and there was another excuse and the employee had to take it to Branson so it would be another day. So another day goes by and we ask about the hat the "manager" left it in her car and refused to get it to us. Next day comes, another excuse but this time we have to pick out a new hat to be designed and wait for it to be taken to Branson to be done. After a week of waiting for a hat that will never get done we asked for a refund, in which we will probably never get, so THANKS AGAIN LIDS GLAD WE COULD PAY YOU FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
