I called and spoke with Monica with the specifications of a custom door that I needed hardware for and exspessed my concerns of the 500 lb weight. She sent me an email with the photos and the price of $1167.00 but failed to mention that the weight compasity was for only 400 lbs. She was very willing to take my money but wasn't willing to explain that the hardware she was selling wouldn't hold my doors.

We can’t say a Big Enough Thank You to Valorie and Monica for helping us getting cabinet and bathroom hardware, grab bars and a shower door when we ran into problems with our builder not getting them. They were very good to help me pick out what I needed that would go with what we had. They were very efficient on getting items in to their store and installed for us. Only wished we would used them to start with !! Highly recommend this business.

We purchased door hardware, mirrors, towel bars, and shower glass from NHP. Their store has a good selection of products to choose from, the customer service was great, and the mirror and shower glass installation is perfect.

National Home Products is the BEST! I have worked with them for many, many years on projects. The owners and staff are so knowledgeable, friendly & helpful! Pricing is very reasonable. This company is also very generous to our local community. Any naysayers out there are just “sour grapes” because this place is wonderful!!!!!!

The company charges a whopping 40% restocking fee. This alone keeps me from doing business with them in the future. I like to shop local but not when there’s no Grace offered if you change your mind. Construction is so obscure and changes so frequently. We should be allowed some freedom for contractor mistakes, etc.This is one time when menards might win out.

We paid $2754.40 plus $250 in taxes for a vanity from National Home Products and the next business day we called to let Monica the owner know that we had changed our mind and didn’t want the vanity. Monica told us that they charge a 40% restocking fee so she would give us $1900 and they would keep $1200. At no time during our purchase did Monica say anything about a restocking fee and when we brought that up to her she said that it’s printed on the receipt but the receipt says 40% restocking fee on special orders so not only did Monica fail to tell us about a 40% restocking fee she also didn’t tell us that our purchase was a special order. Monica and National Home Products is very dishonest and not to be trusted with your hard earned money.

My wife stopped by Springfield location to price closet/pantry/utility organizers. She gave dimensions of areas, lady told her she would complete "custom" set up for her. She sent wife details and my wife placed order, but that the Springfield, MO store did not install in our area, but it would be an easy job for anyone. $7000+ dollars spent on 2 closets, 1 pantry, and 1 shelf in Utility room. Quality was comparable to what you could buy in box store, MDF shelves, had to cut all pieces to fit rooms and diagrams contained about half the needed dimensions to complete the project. For the money if you have any mechanical aptitude, go somewhere and buy the materials yourself and avoid these overpriced systems.

I recently purchased some door knobs that I ended up not needing. I called the store the day of pickup, 2 days after ordering to cancel the order only to find out there was a $48 dollar restocking fee. I guess I'll be buying all my cabinet and bathroom hardware some place else.

Bought a new house and wanted to replace the plastic wall plate covers to match the antique bronze hardware in the rest of the house. A friend recommended talking to them. We dealt with 3 different people at the store and all of them were pleasant and knowledgeable. My wife picked them up at their showroom, now she wants to update/upgrade other things. A lot larger selection than department stores on display. Showroom is worth a visit if you live in Springfield or surrounding areas.
