Visiting the area and needed to check out a local shop, and this one did not disappoint. Friendly staff, and pup, greeted me upon arrival. Great selection for quilting as well as gadgets and embroidery supplies

They listed some fabric for sale online. I ordered 2 of them, paid and was waiting to be notified of when my order would be ready. They claim there was a typo and told me the price is now $30 higher each. Then cancelled my order. What a terrible way to run a business. The price should have been honored and order filled. If you go into a store and they have the price wrong, they honor the price they're showing the consumer. It should be the same way here. I will never shop here again & I will tell everyone to avoid them. Horrible customer service.

It is so nice to find a shop that is like this one. Friendly, talented and do repairs. We had our Bernena tuned up and the man who worked on it was very knowledgeable. The police was reasonable and it took less than one week.

I’ve been shopping at quilt sampler for a long time, they are the best in town for a few reasons. The selection of products is top notch but what brings me back every time is the employees. Any one of them will go out of their way to help you, but will also just let you shop without pressure. We are also lucky to have a shop owner that puts on events and educational classes, she cares for her customers!! My happy place.

Absolutely horrible service. I enjoy quilting and spend an average of $200-300 a month on fabric and supplies (my 2 daughters quilt with me too). I ended up buying a very expensive Pfaff machine there, after 6 months it was skipping stitches. I brought it back to be serviced, and was charged because the timing was off. I had to remind them that it was *still* under warranty and should not have been charged for that. They huffed and withdrew the charge. In March of 2020, I had signed up for a class that was cancelled due to COVID. By August, they had still not rescheduled, so I reached out to see if I could get a refund. No response back. So on October 12, I reached out again to find out what was going on. Both the shop and I agreed that it would just be placed as a credit on my account there. Today I sent my husband in to pick up a teflon foot and a package of leather needles for me. My husband told Cristen (the owner) to apply it against the balance in my account with them. Cristen told him that they had mailed me a check over 2 years ago. She then said it *was* a credit on my account, but it was only to go towards a cleaning of my machine. My husband said he would step outside of the store to give her time to figure out how she was going to handle it since she couldn't keep her story straight. When he went back inside, she had brought Brad, the machine repairman over to watch over my husband for some reason. My husband was not threatening, or mean, or demeaning, or had even raised his voice (in fact - he was joking around with another lady shopping in the store about how he was the errand boy for his wife). Regardless, she *finally* applied the refund to my account and my poor husband left. They will never get my hefty business again and I will find another shop to service my machine.

This store sells a nice selection of quilting fabrics, as well as a nice selection of different sewing and embroidery machines. I've shopped at this store for several years, and they were always very helpful, however, when I recently purchased an embroidery sewing machine from them, I saw a different side of their business and customer service. They don't provide any beginner embroidery classes, nor much support for learning the intricacies of machine embroidery. They're more interested in conducting high dollar (I.e. several hundred dollar) classes instead of the more simple embroidery classes to help new machine embroiderers. When I asked if they did/would do any type of beginner classes, my request fell on deaf ears. It is very frustrating, when asking for help, to be told "bring your finished project in and I'll tell you what you did wrong." That might help me for the next time, but my current project is ruined. I'm very disappointed in the "after purchase" service/help I've received from Quilt Sampler.

Heads up on buying here!! These folks don’t do machine returns whatsoever. I wouldn’t buy a machine from them since they wouldn’t take it back even if you changed your mind and haven’t opened the box yet. They just want you to upgrade.

My favorite quilt shop in Missouri! You will be met by a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff when you come in the door. They offer a wide variety of fabrics, quilting and embroidery supplies and notions. I have purchased 2 of my Brother sewing machines there and my Bernina Longarm quilting machine as well as a Brother sewing machine for my mother in law. They are always helpful if I have a question.

Aĺl of the people that work at Quilt Sampler are very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have the answer they will get it for you. They offer amazing classes, fabrics, and notions. They'll order it if they don't have it in stocks. Also Great parking ! A+++

Rudest owners worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Sold my daughter a machine they knew wasn’t suited for her needs just for the commission of the salesperson.

Wonderful place to purchase a sewing machine. They even offer classes for those like me who don't know how to sew
